Cos - hideous or not?

I'm not really a Cos shopper but got a pretty dress there today which has pockets! Now thinking have I been duped into getting it as are all the clothes there actually shapeless and hideous?....anyone else like it there?

I love Cos stuff. It looks so stylish compared with most high street stuff. The fabric is much better quality too.
My only problem is it doesn’t suit me. I am big built with a big bust, and look odd in all their stuff. Believe me I’ve tried.
My friend is slim and quite androgynous with broad shoulders and looks a million dollars in their stuff. Ho him that’s life....

Oh no, I'm big busted too, and not skinny....where is that receipt....

Most of my absolute favourite clothes are cos, but i agree that 90% of their stuff is hideous and/or incomprehensible and I can understand exactly why the models on their website look so pissed off at having to wear it.

I like it. Not too many patterns. The clothes seem simple but not boring. I have a few things I really love from there. I'm small and average. So not the type who looks good in anything. I have to be very selective.

I have a big bust, but a small frame. My two favourite dresses are from there. Beautiful fabrics, well-made, with pockets. I put them on and feel stylish but me.

I'm a classic hourglass with big boobs and I've never seen anything from Cos which would look right on me.

Also large of bust but love their aesthetic. I think yoi just have to be selective about which pieces you buy ie stay away from the shapeless stuff.

I'm a petite hourglass and can always find something. The bulk of their stuff is aimed at a more androgynous shape but you can always find something suitable, I got a lovely v-neck skater dress there earlier this year for a funeral, much better cut for my frame than anything I found elsewhere and pure cotton.

I think for me I always wear tighter fitting things but less comfortable. This just felt stylish and comfortable but now I’m thinking maybe shapeless too!

I know that lots of people rate it, but to me the clothes look very middle aged and frumpy.

If you are 20, tall and slim they probably look alright, but if you were 20 you would t pick Cos.

Can you provide a link to the dress OP?

Some are lovely, others are shapeless sacks on me so it’s hard to say without seeing it.

I love Cos and all my favourite clothes come from there. However I avoid their trousers as they don’t work for my shape.

I’m middle aged , with a small frame and big bust.

Id say my style is Swedish architect Grin

Oh I love Cos. Because I'm tall, most brands think that a size 12-14 is small and with boobs. Cos you can just add a belt and it all works brilliantly.

Try clothes on and decide for yourself?

I'm wearing this today, it looks great, I'm tall and a bit booby.

Plus, POCKETS!

Yes I’m sure big boobs are easier to dress on a small frame.
I’m big boned, big boobs a bit chunky and slightly overweight, so the very opposite to willowy. Lots of things look good on me but I have to be selective.
I spent years rocking the skin tight sexy look because I was looking for approval and attention. Now I finally approve of myself i admire how intelligent and independent the Cos look is. I would love todo Swedish architect!
I agree some of it is too odd though.
I didn’t mean to get you scrabbling for the receipt op. Try it on , take a good look in the mirror and take it from there.

I think it depends in your shape and size. I'm short and petite (size 6-8) and anything from Cos looks terrible on me as it completely swamps me.

When I was a size 12-14 I looked like shit in their clothes, I'm short too so didn't work for me! Also exxy

It must have been a month since the last COS is hideous post. I love it have been wearing it for eight years it's not compulsory to like it.

I'm wearing this today, www.cosstores.com/en_gbp/women/jumpsuits/product.short-sleeve-poplin-jumpsuit-black.0632841001.html
love it even though it's a bit swampy I'm 5ft4, size s or xs depending. I've got a couple of dresses from Cos that I love too, and some cropped trousers that were a mistake.
