Maternity jeans - Topshop Joni, Leigh or Jamie?

Can anyone in the know describe to me the difference in fit between these three styles? As far as I can see they're all skinny jeans but I presume there must be differences? Are some skinnier than others, or are some full-length and some 7/8 length, or in RL do some come up a lot smaller than others? Topshop website isn't terribly informative and unfortunately I need to order online, so I'd rather not have to order 20 pairs to find one that works.

Another complicating factor is that I need them in maternity style. Any recommendations for over bump or under bump, or whether to size up or down? My current Topshop jeans (which are no longer made or I'd be going for those in maternity version to save hassle) are a size 10 but on the small side so if any of the others come up v small I'd need a 12.

Leigh are much thinner fabric..more like cotton ttrouser than jeans. And the black ones fade terribly

Leigh are very soft and fine, lightweight fabric. They do fade but can be dyed back with Dylon. They are slightly less skinny at the ankle than Joni / Jamie. The standard fit are mid rise, not sure what this means in terms of maternity though.

Joni are what I would call jeggings; super skinny, high waisted and in terms of fabric weight, are in between Leigh and Jamie. I wear them all the time and they're great for summer. They are tight to the ankle.

Jamie are much thicker / heavier and too hot for me at this time of year. Again, they are high waisted and skinny to the ankle. Much more like proper jeans than Joni or Leigh.

I wore Leigh maternity jeans during my pregnancies. They were lovely but did wear between the legs (I did have fat legs when pregnant Grin)

Hope that's of some help to you Thanks

I bought Jamie in the under bump style. They don't stay up! I haven't tried over bump (due in August so I thought I wouldn't want the extra layer of fabric) but I imagine they'd be better. Every time I sit down and stand up wearing them, I have to yank them up so they aren't bunched under my bum. Very annoying to someone who always wore high waisted jeans that never budged.

Anyway, I'd say Jamie are normal denim (jeans not jeggings), and skinny but not super skinny. Agree that Leigh are thinner, like jeggings material. I think Joni are higher waisted, but not sure how that translates to the maternity version.

Sorry, forgot to mention sizing. I size down in all three styles as I like my jeans very skinny on the leg. They do all give a little but do not sag or bag. Again, this is for the standard fit so not sure about maternity.

I'm five foot six and wear leg length 32, which sits right in the middle of my ankle bone. For a 7/8 look I'd have a 30in leg.

I preferred over the bump, but this is a very personal choice.

Have you read the reviews on the Topshop website? I find them very helpful.

Thank you all. I've ordered a selection in size 10 to try. Sounds like over the bump is the way to go.
