Am I the only one who is sick to death

... of stars on everything?

I thought we hit peak star last year. But to my dismay, all the SS18 stock is once again covered in stars! I am so sick of seeing a nice jumper, but oh no, it's got stars on it. Oh, like the cut of that leather jacket, but no, bloody stars all over it. Oh! I've been looking for some jeans of that exact style, but OH NO EFFING STARS EVERYWHERE.

Is it just me? I thought it was cute like three years ago. It's enough now.

I’m not seeing these stars? Where are they?

Yeah, Im over it. And I LOVE stars. But it seems that these days all tops are either stripes, stars or leopard print.

Stars don't bother me they've been around for years I prefer the smaller print and not the big star design Hush seem to bring back every year. I really hate rainbows though.

I love the stars and hope they will keep on going for every and every Grin

I prefer the stars to the floral madness on every frigging dress.

Sick of the floral overkill

Love stars, sorry.

I'm not a fan of stars either OP. And I'm keeping a beady eye on rainbows as they seem to be trying to muscle their way in too. I mean who really wants to look like a children's TV presenter from 1981?

Actually I don't like any print these days. Stripes and florals are also outstaying their welcome.

Much prefer stars to rainbows which look frankly ridiculous.
Don't mind small delicate florals.

My DD's wear clothes with rainbows on. They are aged one and four!
I quite like stars though.

Well, today I'm wearing a star-strewn tunic, and yesterday I was wearing a rainbow on my jumper all day, and a rainbow t-shirt in the evening.

Before you can call yourself Geoffrey you need to invest in some snug yellow dungarees.

I like stars. I am fed up with unicorns!

CointreauVersial · 23/03/2018 13:56

I'd sooner have stars than flowers, to be honest. Somehow less twee.

Report
Ididnthearanything · 23/03/2018 14:20

Agree Cointreau. Flowers, they'r hard to wear. They're all a bit curtain-y.
So yes, give me stars before flowers.
Order would be: no pattern - stars - leopard - flowers.

Urgh unicorns

See I don’t mind stripes. To me they are a neutral, as is leopard print. Wouldn’t touch rainbows or unicorns with a barge pole!!

Hate all patterns bar the odd stripe but reserve special hatred for those knobbing Hush rainbow jumpers. They remind me of the sort of things worn by actors who are doing a stint in children’s entertainment.

Unicorns and pineapples are on the way out thank fuck.

Leopard print is neutral!? Leopard print just reminds me of 80's and spandex. Like Peggy Bundy.

Report
leccybill · 23/03/2018 17:32

Of course leopard is neutral. I have a grey leopard snood scarf I wear virtually every day, with everything.
Also my leopard skin ankle boots go with all jeans, opaques, everything. Love leopard!

I'm tired of the appliqued flowers attached to everything.

Oh appliqué bits are the worst. You think you've found a nice plain top and then you lift it up and there's a blimmin' sparkly rose on it.

Oh I like stars, what I am thoroughly bored of is everything having ‘cold shoulders’. Enough!

Report
PerfectlyDone · 23/03/2018 18:05

Oh, cold shoulders! Worn by people who really maybe have shoulders that invite being kept warm....
