Frizzy hair-help!!!!

My daughter seems to have the worst hair ever, it is so frizzy and her scalp is so dry. She is 15 and I have tried John Freida, Aussie oil, tresseme and none seem to be helping.
She has curly hair and even when I straighten it the top just goes frizzy.

Any suggestions of what to use would be great.
Even shampoos but those for a dry scalp or any conditioners?

Thanks x

Does she use styling products? Have you tried the curly girl method ? I have curly hair and if I straighten it I use a spray serum to smooth down the cuticles after wards .

Maria Nila is a great shampoo and conditioner range from sallys trade shop, there may be one near you or can order online soon. The one called true soft is lovely. If her scalp is dry could you use some scalp treatments on it? Sounds like her hair needs a lot more moisture.

Do you brush it?

I hope you don't tell her that you think her hair is the worst hair ever...... Try sulphate free shampoo and coconut oil left on overnight to add moisture.

Try Asia's Moroccan hair oil after each wash. Also get her to drink 6 glasses of water a day !

Hi
Thanks for the replies.
No I don't tell her it's the worst ever.
I think a mixture of hormones don't do it justice. Her hair used to be beautiful till she hit puberty.
I try and brush it and I give it a good wash once a week. To try and stop the build up.
I will have a look at some of the things you have all said.
Thanks muchly

I wouldn't brush curly hair at all, only if you're straightening it.

That was meant to say Asda's Morrocan hair oil as it is cheaper than most of others and still good quality.

Oh yes - I have very curly and frizzy hair and I never brush it - comb only when wet, brushing breaks the curl and creates more frizz.
