I don't watch it but if she is the main female character it's this sold-out Jigsaw peacoat.

Here

Thanks for the prompt response PNGirl - I've seen that one in the newspapers but the one I've fallen for [though its probably sold out too!] is actually a less posh coat - same colour but more of a barbour type.

The khaki one with the hood? I think it’s from Parka London.

Oooh nice @GlubGlubGlub - similar but not the same - it looks more like a waxed jacket in the series. Thank you for the Asos link though..

I'm pretty sure the jacket is Barbour but for the life of me I can't seem to find the exact one. Any luck finding it?

Gahh! I'm so excited for you! I'm in Canada and I don't think they sell it here Sad let me know when you get it and what the fit is like!

I certainly will do - except that I'm in Cyprus and it's being delivered to UK - to my mums address and I'm not going there till April [pointless to have a big coat then - even in UK!]

I do however already have a Barbour International jacket that I've had a few years and shall we say... it's a little bit snug now... so I've ordered the next size up for for this one and hope to sell my too small one along the way.

I'm still excited even though it's very delayed gratification - I will definitely let you know how cosy it is....

The only reason I have it is because of you jnoelt! Wink

omg, delayed gratification is the best. Now you have something to look forward to! So jealous! When you get it next month let me know how you feel about the sizing, I'm not sure if I should order an 8 or 10.. the last thing I want is a snug fit, you know?

And I'm glad I had at least some influence :) - we'll be cross continental Barbour sisters!

It's only NEXT month??!!!! I didn't realise it was so close! Time is going too fast! It's my brothers wedding but I'm still not quite sure the Barbour will cut the mustard.....

I love that you're my cross-continental Barbour sister - I shall call you cc for short Wink - and of course - we must engage in some beautifully Barbour clad stealthy sleuthing....

It's sleeves that can be the trouble ... I often find....

I know! it'll be no time until you get it. Let's be honest, Barbour goes with everything, it's totally wedding worthy :)

True to our cc sisterhood we will definitely need to keep up our Barbour super sleuthing - and any other piece of gorgeous clothing worth our adoration.

I have also heard that Barbour is tight in the sleeves. I'm in Toronto so layering is KEYYY. Normally I'd probably go for the 10 but maybe 12 is the way to go? ( I'm a 2-4 in North American sizing but that doesn't really mean anything I guess).

Ah yeessss! I can just see how wedding worthy that particular look is...

I reckon - in this situation only - the 12 might be the best way forward - room enough for a handy stiletto up your sleeve...

I'm obviously your bigger cc sis j so I'm a 14 - despite a daily run and minimal intake - and have ordered the 16 cos it's cold in the countryside in England.

It's arrived!!! Already - I only ordered it yesterday!

My mum has tried it - she's a 10 - she says its very roooomy!

You could probably get two of her in there - one poking out of each sleeve but I'll update mid April when I get to wear it for real. Smile

Damn! I wrote a message but I guess it didn't send. WOWW, I can't believe it arrived already! Your sizing description makes me wonder if I should get a 10?? ..also, how classy is that Barbour bride??!

Difficult j - I tried to look for reviews to see if they generally come up small but I couldn't find any but also my choice was made easier as they didn't have it in a 14 - my usual size - and of course my current one is too tight on the shoulders and that's a 14 - I wouldn't get a jumper beneath for sure.

Just to confuse us even more my mum said it doesn't look big!

I bet she's wearing tartan knickers beneath! Blush

hahahaha! you're hilarious. But man oh man oh..so hard to figure it out! But I think you're probably right in that going bigger is clearly smarter. I just don't want to look like a monster in it, you know?

I'll see if I can find any more reviews, but for g'sake, this shouldn't be so difficult, sheeeeesh.

Thanks j!

This may help - here's my mum wearing it! Oooh - it looks sooo good. Grin She's a size 10 AND she's wearing jumpers.....

...and tartan pattern pants... Wink

I'll do another photo when I get there.

Ohhhh!! thanks for the photo, so cute, I love it! Okay, I think for sure a 10 for me.

You're the best for getting your mumma to model. You must be super excited now that you've actually seen it. It look great!
