Shoe storage ideas?

How do you store your shoes? Everything from flats and trainers to heels and boots

I currently have loads more heels then I really have space for, it’s all very cluttered. I am considering buying a bookcase to store them but I’m very interested in your ideas! (With the bookcase I’m not sure if I’d get sick of having them all on display after a while, and I doubt I’d fill every shelf so I might get tempted to buy more!)

I use billy bookcases from IKEA! I don't have the doors on but it's an option?

I'm a 5/6 so the depth is perfect and the shelves are easily moved up or down to accommodate heights, which keeps it looking neat.

I have some baskets for my purses/small bags and scarves are draped over a tension rod between billy and the wall.

Some of my handbags sit on another shelf. Taller boots too - I rotate those and sandals seasonally

Good God then my dh would see all I own.
I'm not sure he knows our 6 foot bed has drawers underneath. I just hope he never discovers them or their contents.
He thinks I think our Visa limit is a target not a limit. .

I keep most of them in their boxes in my wardrobe. I put summer ones away and rotate with winter ones. Some are inbetween-ies so kept in the downstairs cupboard

We use them for bedding, but they are sold for shoe storage. Expensive. Very well made however. JL do various other options as well I think.

I knew I had some pictures somewhere...

I've also got some boxes cardboard boxes from Argos that sort of connect, that I keep shoes that came without their own box...OH had some plastic ones that stack up in his wardrobe.

I'm not really that neat, just it does mean more can be stored rather than just thrown in as we are short on space have way too much stuff

We've recently built shoe storage cupboards in our hall. They're fab! We used four shallow kitchen wall cupboards from Ikea, fasted together and mounted on the wall, with two tall doors. Lots of shelves which can be positioned just right for different heights of shoes, boots, etc. Works brilliantly!

I keep all my shoes concealed in my wardrobe with just a few pairs on the shoe rack- couldn't have my husband seeing them all in the same place and knowing just how many pairs I actually own!
