I need to change my skin care products as whatever I use just isn't working, i'm happy to pay a bit more if it's going to be good. So far i've used Simple, No7, Nivea, boots own brand etc

Have any of you used La Roche Posay, Avene, Clarins etc? Any products you'd recommend or even other brands. I have very dry skin if that makes a difference. Thanks!

The Ordinary. Victoria Health have sample routines for all skin types and it's so cheap and the products really work.

La Roche Posay Toleriane range is for dry/sensitive skin. The Avène range is good too.

I added a hydrating toner and it makes a huge difference. I got Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner as it has minimal ingredients. You can get a small 100ml bottle to try. (Beauty and Seoul are a UK stockist).

I second La Roche Possay Toleriane for cleanser. Unfortunately the moisturisers didn't work for me. I love La Roche Possay Hydraphase moisturising mask, I use it 2-3 times a week. I also like Bioderma's Hydrabio range for serums and moisturisers.

Jesus Krishma Hmm reported.

I'm finding the Pure hot cloth cleanser from Superdrug is working really well, that whole range is very very good. I use Korean Facebook masks once a week, the Innisfeee ones you can get on eBay are great.

I've found the key is to experiment and listen to your skin. At the moment I'm dryer than normal so I'm using LRP Toleraine cleanser and a Filorga moisturiser. I'm also loving the Aldi Caviar stuff.

I use DHP oil to remove my makeup and I do a 3x week mask with Dermalogica multi Vit/ Exfoliant/ and the red one from The Ordinary.

This will probably change in the summer when I'll start to use Effaclar cleanser and the Clarins hydro moisturiser.

You need to get lots of sample sizes from different brands and mix and match. Go and ask the assistants for recommendations, but don't buy a whole range of stuff from one brand.

Another vote for The Ordinary. Message them on Instagram or email Victoria Health with a brief low down on your skin issues and they will get back
to you with a regime.

Murad is good, the moisturiser is a proper sunsceen so you don't need an additional one

i've picked up a La Roche Posay Toleraine cleanser and toner for now and will send The Ordinary a message as that seems the most popular! how does it work do you mix it with water?

Krishna was peddling her own products, squashed up truffles in a jar that suits every skin type in the entire world, apparently.
