I've not thought about it and I'll probably be surprised but I wanted to see how much it all costs for everyday- this is not my entire collection.

Primer- Benefit Porefessional- £26
Foundation- MAC Studio Fix Fluid- £23.50
Concealer- Collection Lasting Perfection- £4
Brows- ABH Dipbrow Pomade- £19 but it's gone up recently.
Brow setter- Benefit 24 hour- £20
Eyeshadow- Urban Decay Naked 2 (or 3) Palette- £39.50
Eyeliner- Lancôme Artliner- £23
Mascara- Benefit Bad Girl Bang- £21.50
Lipstick- MAC- £16.50
Highlight- ABH Aurora Glow Kit- £41
Make Up Revolution Contour- £8

So my everyday look costs in total... £242 ShockBlush

Anyone else willing to tot it all up and share/cry?Smile

Never tally up the cost of looking decent! It's always way more than a DH will think necessary!

Oh mine is much of a muchness.
But that's £250 for lots of uses so...

PS I think you missed out your blusher so your cost is actually higher :-)

Just the stuff I carry around with me on a day to day basis:

MAC powder £22.50
Chanel lipstick £25
NARS lipstick £21
NARS lip pencil £22
Lip balm £5
Total £95.50

If I include the base and eye make-up I use before I leave the house... easily another £100. It's terrible really.

I think I spend about £150 per year on make-up. I feel ok about that.

I spend about the same on hair care, which somehow I feel less good about.

It would be more if I included the cost of make-up brushes! And let's not get into skincare & perfume...

Foundation - £60 (Chantecaille)
Concealer - £32 (Laura Mercier)
Mascara - £21 (Lancome Hypnose)
Mattifier - £28 (Becca)
Eyeshadow - £62 (Tom Ford)
Lipstick - £28 (Chanel)
(Sometimes) eyeliner - £18 (Bobbi Brown)

Aside from some Chanel powder which I never use, and a few more lipsticks, that is all the makeup I own. I wear it every day and replace when it has run out but bloody hell, it adds up!

Forgot blusher - £16 - Liz Earle.

Nooo! Everyone knows you should add up and divide by number of products in aforementioned bag. Get an average per 'piece'. I also like to work out my hourly rate and tally against said average...

I'm a cheapskate I really am.

Rimmel foundation - £5
Rimmel powder - £4
Maybeline mascara =£4
Eyeliner, think its Rimmel =£4

So about £20

Also got millions of lip balms that are about £1 each - Blistex variety

£300 and I love every item in my make up bag. I totally ignore the 'use by' stickers on the powders in particular so if you work it out per 'wear' it's pence rather than pounds. I don't wear make up every day and I don't plaster it on but I wouldn't be without it. Mostly Bobbi Brown, No7 and some Bourjois.

Gah You need a £1 blemish thingy, or a concealer from the Pound Shop Smile

At the moment:

Chanel primer £35 (definitely won't be rebuying this though, it's rubbish)
Chanel foundation £37
Chanel concealer £27 (again, probably won't rebuy)
MUA eyebrow kit £2.50
Glossier boy brow £14
Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow travel palette £26
MUA eyeliner pen £1
No 7 mascara £13
Rimmel bronzer £5.99
NYX highlighter £8
Glossier cloud paint £15
MUA lipliner £1
MUA lipstick £2

So £186.50. Not too bad really but I wear it so little it's a waste to spend much. (I'd welcome recommendations for a decent budget primer and concealer to replace mine when they run out!)

I don't have a make up bag at home. The daily regular stuff is stored in one of those acrylic stand things. So, ignoring all the stuff on the drawer...

Daily everyday make up-
Lancome foundation £32
MUFE hd powder £24.50
Nars concealer £24
Amazing concealer £20
Laura mercier secret concealer £21
Diorshow mascara £25.50
Bobbi Brown pot rouge £22
Bobbi Brown shimmer brick £35.50
Urban decay single eyeshadow £15
UD Naked 2 palette £39.50
No7 brow gel £8.50
17 eyeshadow (brow powder) £10
Maybelline lip balm £3.99
Dior lip glow £25.00

£306.49

Jesus Christ. Shock That's genuinely shocking. I dread to think how much all the make up I own comes to. Bloody hell. I know a lot of it lasts ages and cost per wear is ok but that's a wake up call.
