Warm winter dog walking coat (not down) UK

Hi ladies, I am looking for a warm coat that's suitable for everyday use and dog walking, needs to be waterproof.

I am vegetarian so no down.

I've looked around but could do with recommendations from people that actually own a warm coat. Are the wax jackets warm? I live in Derbyshire so the winters can be cold. Thanks in advance

In my experience Hurtta do the best waterproof dog coats, not cheap but excellent and breathable, wash well too.

Didrikson, all the way. I have a thin one (Thelma) which is just knee length and has good pockets, for poo bags, car keys, phone and enough space for cards/money to do item shopping. And a heavier padded, non down version that is nearly identical for very cold wet weather. ANd I live in Cornwall which gets the rain first. An upmarket farmer's shop is perhaps the best option.

I have a Barbour, but tweed, not wax, it's lovely and warm.
I'll find a link.

Merrell are great. I bought a knee length hooded coat about six years ago. It's lightweight thoroughly waterproof and the hood works well. It's brilliant. I've reproofed it twice and it's still looks new.
