Is this dress dreadful?

I can't get past how bloody practical it is. I'm a teacher. Chuck that on with some flat lace ups. Done. I want it in both designs. Do I need a quiet sit down in a darkened room?

I like it, easy and practical and you’ll wear it a lot. I’d buy.

TheExtraPickle Sun 11-Feb-18 03:31:17

I like the style and pattern but the cut looks a little loose and baggy. What's your body shape?

Flamingoose Sun 11-Feb-18 03:33:37

I'm 5'4, size 10, if I put on weight it goes on my tummy which is not ideal for this dress...

Flamingoose Sun 11-Feb-18 03:34:07

It's mail order. I think I'll have a punt and return if it does nothing for me.

I like them - prefer the gold dots one though - a little bit more unusual than the bird print.

TealStar Sun 11-Feb-18 03:36:21

If you’re wearing it to work I’d imagine that’s fine. Not the lost inspiring of outfits but very often reality means wanting a working wardrobe of fuss-free outfits that you can pull on without thinking while simultaneously wiping porridge from the table, feeding the dog and finding your dc’s lost PE kit.

I’d probably accessorise them with a few cuff bangles / bracelets and pair them with fitted cardigans and blazers. Some cool shoe boots or flat loafers/brogues perhaps.

Flamingoose Sun 11-Feb-18 06:41:02

Exactly Teal. I reckon it doesn't even need ironing.

Rubyslippers7780 Sun 11-Feb-18 06:46:23

I like it. Very practical. Looks nice and comfy and not the usual boring practical workwear.

Blueberryblueberry Sun 11-Feb-18 06:49:49

I have a couple of dresses in a similar style - perfect for work. Wheres it from op?

Leilaniiii Sun 11-Feb-18 06:56:55

I like it a lot!

strawberryblondebint Sun 11-Feb-18 07:04:33

Aha but does it have pockets

PorklessPie Sun 11-Feb-18 07:34:14

I like the one with spots, where is it from?smile

stopfuckingshoutingatme Sun 11-Feb-18 08:29:34

It’s a fine one to throw on for Work Op !

chaplin1409 Sun 11-Feb-18 08:33:20

I like it. Where is it from?

Bluntness100 Sun 11-Feb-18 08:33:22

The spotty one is better, it's never going to draw admiring gasps, but as a basic work dress, it looks comfy enough.

NotSoSprightly Sun 11-Feb-18 08:34:22

I like it! Where's it from? Might buy one myself!

Justgotmypositive Sun 11-Feb-18 08:34:48

I like them both. Where are they from?

missyB1 Sun 11-Feb-18 08:36:27

Perfect work dresses, and can be worn with a plain fitted cardigan and flat shoes - sorted!

HollyBollyBooBoo Sun 11-Feb-18 08:40:01

Love the gold spotty one, would love it even more with a v neck rather than round neck. Where are they from please?

Flamingoose Sun 11-Feb-18 09:02:17

I'm not in UK. Am buying from a website that sells various brands Ezibuy.com. The brand of the dress is Capture.

Flamingoose Sun 11-Feb-18 09:03:56

Strawberry - no pockets sadly.

I do have a lovely skirt with enormous pockets that I often find board pens in at the end of the day. I'm never sure if I put them there or they fall in.

Xascha Sun 11-Feb-18 09:05:18

dammit - $45 delivery to the UK....

IHeartKingThistle Sun 11-Feb-18 09:06:45

Cool coloured belts would make them look lovely.
