Hi just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the Alpha H brand? Specifically the beauty sleep power peel (comes in a purple tub).

I've tried it, (not the power peel) but liquid gold. It did nothing for me but I know it's worked great on others. The only product I have found that does what it claims is Paula's choice.

Yes I was debating between this and Paula’s choice! Any specific products you recommend?

I’ve got the power peel and I think it’s good - seems to soften lines nicely, especially around the mouth. Strong, tho - my skin is über-unsensitive and this is one of the only things that sting.

Thanks for the comments, I have quite sensitive skin too. Sigh.

My skin is sensitive, also prone to those annoying under the skin spots. But Paula's choice doesn't sting or dry your face. I use the skin perfecting 2 % BHA.

I use Alpha H, liquid gold and I do like it. leaves my skin looking very clear. My skin is fairly sensitive and I haven't had any reaction. Their eye cream got rid of some little white spots around my eyes. After a few weeks of use, they just rubbed off. I can also recommend their hand cream it has made a huge difference to my hands.

I know QVC have an Alpha H Today Special Value coming up in the next couple of days because they have just sent me an email on it. It includes a face wash, eye cream and liquid gold. You could always try it and if it doesn't work send it back under their 30 day money back guarantee.

I think the power level is brilliant!
I use retin a so I don't use it as an over night mask. I use it in the morning as a face mask. Result is healthy glowing skin and no peeling from retin a.
On my 3rd tub. It's expensive ( to me ) so I have looked for alternative but nothing else like it that I have found.
I ran out once when skint with in a week skin lost that healthy glow so I will never stop using it.

Their SPF50 Daily Essential Moisturiser is lovely. Just wish it were cheaper.

If anyone is interested in the Alpha H TSV here is the number: 234752. It includes: cleanser, liquid gold and eye cream for £39.96 (obv there is P&P on top of that) but they do have an easy pay option. I am not sure what day this TSV is as it doesn't say on the email but I am thinking it might be over the weekend.

I haven't tried the power peel or the SPF 50 moisturiser so I'm off to look those up. I have been using their 24 hr moisturiser this week and I am impressed with the results.

I find the Powerpeel is amazing, and I can really tell the difference when I don't use Liquid Gold. Conversely, I was massively disappointed by the Paula's Choice retinol - it did absolutely nothing for my skin: literally no difference at all.

QVC's postage is hefty, and you have to pay returns but the flipside is that they'll let you try things and return if they don't work for you. The tsv PP have mentioned might be a worthwhile gamble in your case, OP.
