Style help please! For 31 year old

I’m hoping the wise S&B crew can help me- I’m in a work style rut! I’m
31, size 12 and pretty tall at 5’11, and work in a university-type setting. I’m sometimes business facing so have to be relatively smart but it’s not too formal. I hate heels as I’m so tall already and usually wear flats, a skirt and a top but I feel frumpy all the time 😞 I’m not able to afford super expensive stuff but could splash out on a few key pieces. Where on earth should I be shopping?! Please help me MN gurus ☺️
