Curl secret?

Does anyone have a babyliss curl secret?
My hair is a frizzy mess and looks okayish when straightened if a little limp. I cannot get to grips with curling my hair with a straightening iron and want to try some loose waves. Can anyone recommend something the curl secret or something else?

I brought a curl secret when they first came out, gathering dust now, my hair kept getting tangled up. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend.
