Princessing 2018

Have just been working out how long it will take me to lose my excess weight. Horrifyingly my app reckons the start of May if I lose 1.5lb a week. ( 2 stone-ish Blush)

It got me thinking about the last Project Princess thread which was great..and of course there's Harry and Meghan's wedding in May that I/we could use as a target. Just for a bit of fun...anyone?

Would be great to get the previous experts on board if they are around ?

Oh I’m up for a bit of princessing. Not a lot of weight to lose (6lbs) but turning 39 in a few weeks and looking tired. Been working on getting a wardrobe I love and main priorities this year are getting more sleep and sorting my skin, especially around my eyes - more technology needed in that area.

Count me in.

I love a bit of Princessing, me Smile

Thanks to bastardy flu I managed to actually lose half a stone over Xmas and I'm determined to keep it off.

I got addicted to regular Shellac manicures before Xmas and fully intend to keep having them in 2018.

I'm stepping up my (already intensive) skincare regime as I'm pushing 50 and everything is starting to ever-so-slightly sag. I'm also toying with having a series of CACI treatments to try and stay the passage of time.

Anyone had a good experience of CACI?

Aridane · 10/01/2018 13:44

What is CACI?

Report
TheOtherGirl · 10/01/2018 13:52

It's a type of non surgical face lift.

Sleeping more than 6hrs a night

Yay! Hello everyone

Agree agree with everything above

Lose the weight so I can wear all my nice clothes. I know what to do just need to get on track. Paul McKenna gastric band trance thing on iBook is strangely good....

Use all my lotions potions etc
Make more of an effort with outfits
Use gradual tanner , shave legs, sleep water exercise as pp above

Just saw on daily fail that Meghan's M&S jumper is sold out online
Saw a photo of Kate today at something and although she is very attractive I think Meghan makes her look a bit old fashioned

Would like to join in
Need to lose 2.5st - joined RH Fitness last summer and record everything in My Fitness Pal
I started looking after my skin in November and it's rewarding me. Using Superdrugs Hot Cloth Cleanser and their day moisturiser and night moisturiser.
Project improve Nails starts all over again after using falsies at Christmas they're destroyed. Have Sinful nail oil and normally use a sally hansen strengthener over that, any other recommendations?

Last year I had laser hair removal done on my underarms and it's definitely something I'd recommend

Celebrate I love your Sunday night idea I used to do that when I was in high school!
I'd tidy my room too and put clean sheets on. It was fab. A good way to start the week

The thing is, I find if I use body lotion every day I get lots of tiny bumps and little red spots etc. Not smooth skin at all.

Any ideas?

Love the list

I forgot - I gave up alcohol last Sat until my Christmas party next December, this was preplanned not a result of a hangover Smile
I want to concentrate on improving my running and hangovers don't help weight loss or running

Love this princessing idea. Markle Sparkle love it whenohwhen! I need to join in. Printing out the lists. Sadly I've a couple of stones to shed too and am highlighting getting more than 6 hours of sleep each night.

TheOtherGirl have you tried body lotions with AHA's?
They slough off dry skin rather than moisturising what's there. Sounds like the lotion you are using could be too rich?

Recommend Palmers anti ageing lotion ( turquoise writing) it's bloody brilliant but it stinks a bit

Okay, I’m in please!

Heading out to visit my godmother in May - weekend in Montreal as you do (not!) - so Markle Sparkle sounds good to me!

Went for a run this morning but managed to fall over walking dog and had to go to a&e so not such a good pm but a bit of mutual inspiration is just what i need.
