My makeup drawers are all full of crap. Dry or broken or just never used. I need to have a clear out and only buy the essentials.
What can you not live without?
For me it's nivea creme, I put it on every morning and night and it makes my skin feel goegeous

Ohh I think at the moment its a M&S Formula face cream and the sleep cream. I'm 51 , these are a good texture for me and my skin feels bouncy never tight when I use them (even last week , when we had -4c)

I did buy some BoddyShop Vit E a few weeks ago but my skin was rough as sandpaper after a few days Sad . I'll divert that to my neck/bustline.

The Aldo ones make my eyes water and sting.

Liz Earle cleanse and polish. Makes my skin so lovely I don't need much else

I'm ashamed to say that since DD was born 6 months ago, I have absolutely no beauty routine. Sometimes I even take my make up off with a Huggies wet wipe! Horrific!

NIOD’s CAIS and Hyaluronic Acid, both improve my skin no end and I see the difference if I run out without a back up.

I also really rate the M&S sleep cream. Late 30s. Makes my skin look amazing.

Also:

Clinique clarifying lotion
Nivea gentle eye make up remover
Elnett hairspray
Younique mascara (this is new find but better than any I’ve used before)
MAC brow pencil
Delia brow dye
Nuxe hand cream
Colgate whitening plus.

Anything else I can swap brands without worry but the above are the stuff I always go back to

Oh god the wet wipe wash @RaeCJ82
I have experienced this too as my dd is only 3 months. It feels like an achievement when I get to wash my face and put on moisturizer.
I still haven't relaxed in the bath since I had her. Dh insists she gets in with me every time I try to sneak off for one on my own. Not very peaceful with a wriggly three month old in there too Grin

My only real must haves are Benefit Dandelion and an Urban Decay Naked set.

I'm so relieved that it's not just me @Babababababybel23 I now have baths with my DD staring and laughing at me from her bumbo seat on the bathroom floor. It's all very relaxing!

Absolute essentials for me is a good complexion which I get from Laura mercier tinted moisturiser with hourglass ambient powder over top. Told almost daily I look glowy, which is far from the truth behind the camouflage!

An oil cleanser, a Glycolic acid toner, SPF sun block.

'Beauty' doesn't really apply to me, so I'll substitute 'looking vaguely human'. For this, I must have 3 things :

Sleep,
Sleep,
Sleep.

The Ordinary Niacinamide serum, makes my terrible skin clear and lovely within a week, I really notice the difference if I don’t use it.

Aveeno shower oil and the oat body cream. Stops my psoriasis being so sore.

Bobbi Brown smokey eye mascara, the best lashes ever!

A £2 eyeliner I bought from amazon which is liquid and has a pencil in the lid. Better than any I’ve ever tried, the tip is perfect for wings.

  • For cleansing: Lush Ultrabalm, alternated with Sanctuary Cleanse & Polish. Not big fan of the Santuary stuff but is a quick cleanse whereas the Ultrabland is richer and takes longer to remove.

  • Pixi Glow Tonic (glycolic acid toner) - evenings only - not sure if this helps with anything but is good for seeing off any rogue zits.

  • Clarins Flash Balm - have been using this for a long time but only if my natural self is looking a bit dog eared Envy Or sometimes will apply some Stila Colour Correct if looking too red for my liking.

  • Love to use Body Shop British Rose or Grapefruit soap in the shower. The lovely scents just make it more enjoyable than usual!

Am also a big fan of:

  • Sleep
  • Lots of Water

Much cheaper and just as effective!
