Best product for sore lips

I have tried so many things over the years- I can’t bear things that tingle when they go on (carmex/blistex etc), don’t like tins which are difficult to open (Vaseline intensive) and although Elizabeth Arden (8h) is good, it smells funny! EOS has been pretty good to be honest (the pink one as the green one was a bit stingy) but I have just re-discovered this and think it’s fab. I bought it for chapped hands and it was really too thick for that, but is fab for lips. Not stingy-just right!

I have been using Crazy Rumours from Holland and Barrett. Natural, organic, vegan etc etc plus delicious flavours! Ive got Amaretto atm.
They were half price not long ago.

This is the Australian version of Vaseline but it actually works! The only thing that o have come across that is better is jurlique love balm.

Op I have tried everything over the years, from La Prairie to vaseline and nothing works like cheap and cheerful Lypsl. I go out of my way to find it and stock up. Don't know how it works but when I put it on at night any dryness is gone and my lips are plump and full (not easy when you're 44 with thin lips) worth a go for around £2.

My daughter has had a cold and has dry red lips and she had been using a lemon and raspberry chapstick from blistex and it completely cleared it up in 2 days (she has been using it 4-5 times a day). I tried it too - it doesn't tingle and was 99p from home bargains.

The only one that seems to do wonders for my poor lips is Lush's Lip Service. Or rubbing a block of pure cocoa butter on my lips (think that's the main ingredient in the Lush lip balm). Everything else seems to make it worse.

I’m Australian. Paw paw ointment is ok (overhyped - it’s just Vaseline) but Blistex Relief Cream is far superior.

Nuxe smells fine for me. It is a little pot with particles in the cream (like a mini lip scrub), it removes the dry skin and seems to heal my lips rather than just moisturise. It is available in pharmacies. It isn’t comparable to Vaseline, Carmex etc that just sit on the lips. I find it very good.

Haven’t tried Nuxe but having tried dozens my favourite is Body Shop vitamin e lip balm.

Palmers cocoa butter lip balm, or the neutrogena one. I find both of these really good, and I hate creams and lip balms!

Nuxe, it is miraculous. Swipe it on at bedtime, wake up with smooth lips.

They seem to dissolve with the heat of your lips. It looks like paste and comes in a little glass jar. I've just tried to find you an image but mine is a couple of years old and the packaging is now different.. It is a bit more expensive but it lasts a very long time as I don't have to continuously apply it whereas I used to have the moisturiser sticks in every pocket of every coat and cardigan I owned!

Honey and sugar scrub to slough off the horrid dead skin and then plain old coconut oil for me. You can get those small tubs (travel tubs) with screw on lids to put it in. It's honestly the best thing (second to carmex- but you don't like that)

My dd uses some cream in a yellow tube called Carmex - she's always suffered from chapped and split lips that sometimes bleed and she has found this stuff really works well.

Once you have moisturised you lips can I recommend Burt's bees lip balm , it's excellent

I've been using the Nuxe lip balm in a pot for years. It doesnt have particles in or smell like lemon meringue pie to me. It is a good rich balm which is perfect to use at bedtime but a bit big to carry around. I carry the Nuxe lip balm stick in my bag.
