Replacement skin care routine for No. 7?

I've been using No. 7 Protect and Perfect serum and day and night creams forever - because it works really well for my skin. But it's so expensive now - can anyone recommend anything I could use instead?

This isn't going to be helpful, but my advice is if you have a routine that works then stick with it. After years of chopping and changing, wasting money and having skin flare ups because of the constant chopping and changing, I've now got a routine and products that suit my skin.

In case the above makes me sound a bit smug, for which I apologise, I am a dreadful Beauty Junkie (particularly skincare) and may or may not be very excited about the new Body Shop and Superdrug that are opening very close to where I work, in addition to the Molton Brown that has already opened. The prospect of a lunchtime browsing around so many interesting things......!

I used the same op it does feel like it is getting more expensive comparably speaking. I used to use Estee Lauder and cut down from that one I had DC2.

I assume you have an advantage card and always use the extra point coupons when you buy stuff? By the time I've bought bits on 3 for 2, used a £5 off voucher and spent point's on a product I think I must dave a lot of money.

....non of the above answers your question though, sorry.

I do wonder about Helen Mirrans 'it probably does fuck all anyway' comment though. Perhaps I'd do just as well on somthing cheaper so I will watch for any cheaper recommendations!

Unlike MinesaPinot I do chop and change products, and my even tempered skin doesn't notice the difference - and neither do I. I think it depends entirely on your skin type.

I like no 7 P & P very much, but am now using The Bodyshop vitamin E stuff and my skin likes it just as much.

I might try that then Lonicera - I just can't justify asking for £55-130 Christmas present when we have fuck all for Christmas.

I use the No 7 range too, and after so many trials this seems to be the only one that suits. It is expensive but my skin is very sensitive, even new face wash can cause severe acne! Looking with interest at this thread...as pp said buying it at discounts seems to be the only way ahead...Hmm

I like No 7 too. But depending how flush I am feeling depends whether I buy it.

I have some aldi serum on the go at the moment and also a Boots botanicals one. Both about 1/10th of the price of the No. 7 stuff.

I can't say I notice a difference tbh. The No 7 smells nicer than the aldi one, the No 7 is a bit lighter than the botanicals one.

The only real difference I notice on my skin is if I use cheaper facial wash. I use either clinique or sanctuary when I can find it or No 7s.

And the only time I see a significant improvement is if I cleanse, tone and.exfoliate more regularly.
