Bluey red lipstick

It’s my 50th (eeek) birthday on Friday and I really want to vamp it up with a red lipstick to go with my little black dress.

I never normally wear lipstick as I find it a bit jammy and I also unfortunately don’t have the whitest teeth - I’m saving up to have them whitened next year.

So, would any one be able to recommend a red lipstick with blue tones that will not make my teeth look even more yellow. Preferably matte and one that I don’t have to keep reapplying.

Is there such a thing?

Just a thought - have you ever tried Crest White Strips?? You could use them as an inexpensive interim measure until you get your professional whitening done. They’re pretty good!

Dior 999 is a matte bright red
Mac Ruby Woo is an exceptional matte true red

Re crest strips, especially the ones you buy online from the US, they are excellent but don’t use them in the week before your 50th or you won’t be able to enjoy all the food and drink. They work but make your teeth very sensitive for a couple of weeks.

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. Will go and have a shop tomorrow.

Thanks also for the recommendation about the crest strips, definitely something to try but not before Friday - as I will have cake and gin to enjoy Grin
