I need new make up for an old woman (me!)

Hi all S&B gurus. I have had a job for years that has not, I feel, required much any make up. But now I have a new role (huzzah!) and I need to put on a better face.

I have pretty much nothing (DD despairs when she needs to borrow make up for dance shows). I need foundation and maybe concealer, mascara and nice lippy.

My skin is a bit wrinkly and saggy with tone issues - some red bits and general unevenness. Not terribly dry actually. I need something to cover well without looking mask like. Then a nice lasting lipstick and. a mascara that really works without making my lashes look fake.

I'm 53 btw. Budget is £20 -£35 for the lot if poss. Any thoughts? TIA

If I were you I would spend my money on;
Boots natural collection mascara, £2.49 and gets great reviews.
A Rimmel lipstick - £4-£5 great lipsticks.
A Boots NO7 foundation - get the assistant to suggest the right formula and shade £10-£15.
Garnier micellar water - £4-£5 to clean it all off.
Simple light moisturiser lotion - around £4.

All available in Boots - bump up your Boots points and hopefully get a NO7 £5 off voucher.

If you aren't used to wearing makeup keep making up and cleaning off really simple. Foundation only use on blotchy bits not all over - to avoid the masked look.

Good advice above. I hate spending loads on make up and then not liking it. I think better to spend little and build up ...

No 7 is great on a budget OP, I would recommend trying different finishes of foundations to see what you prefer (:
