Anyone tried one of those butt enhancement creams?

I've been hitting the squats and other types of exercise quite a lot over the past few months and have seen some great results on my bum.

I seem to have a bit a plateau as to the shape that I was really aiming for but I feel like I am nearly there! I've seen all kinds of pills and booty creams around and obviously a lot of them are going to be rubbish. But I was wondering if anyone actually tried any and can give any recommendations?

How could that possibly ever work?? Think about it.

It's never going to happen.....

Surely you are better off just trying to gain sone fat on top of the muscle?

SillyMummyJan Sun 12-Nov-17 17:49:51

I don't think I can gain fat around my bum without it spreading around the rest of my body too :-)

There seems to be a mixture of views on them like with Kylie Jenner in the news: and people that swear by them: Some of them seem to have good reviews on Amazon etc. So I'm still not sure...

Bottom shape is caused by muscle.

How on earth is a cream going to affect the size, shape and positioning of your muscles?

Bloggers are paid to say that stuff. It's like the 'slimming' tea which gives you the shits.

After you've plateaued on the squats consider glute bridges - bodyweight then weigh down with barbells. These will hit glutes without hitting your quads. For me, I was unhappy with how big my quads got and really saw the benefits of less focus on them and more focus on glutes.

How big are you looking to make your bottom? <gets worried>

Lol. This can't be genuine.

Those creams 'work' by irritating the skin and making it swell. Obviously this is only a small amount and only lasts as long as you keep buying the cream.

Come on, kylie had surgery. It’s not creamconfused like why would your first thought be ‘ooo it must be that cream’ rather than ‘she’s getting paid to promote that’

Obviously the cream will help to make the area look nicer (softer, brighter, shine) and may help to fade stretch marks, but it won’t help you gain mass.

You either gain weight all over and tone other areas in the gym, continue to build up muscle, or get surgery.

Why on earth would you listen to Kylie she's had so much work and looks a good 15 years older than her actual age.

Whataboutmeee Sun 12-Nov-17 19:17:10

Have you seen before and after photos of Kyle Jenner? It's not cream.

Wolfiefan Sun 12-Nov-17 19:18:50

Bicycle pump?
Seriously. The only way a cream will enhance your arse is to make it smell nice! grin

Get some mosquitos to bite you?

I think the massaging works rather than the cream. Not to make it bigger but with skin tone.

BulletFox Mon 13-Nov-17 02:45:39

Didn't know they existed grin

They don’t work. My friend (seriously) has spent hundreds on these ridiculous creams and she still has pancakes. The only thing that does work is surgery. I’ve seen women get good results from plenty of squats and waist training too. Just depends how much you want that shape.

Laughed like hell at "get some mosquitos to bite you" grin
