Foundation - Georgia Armani Luminous Silk no 2 for day and Estée Lauder Double Wear for night. I have a lot of redness in my skin.

Concealer- Nars creamy in Vanilla

Eye shadow- Dior Eye Reviver. I need eye shadow to add definition but find most eyeshadows too strong and over powering for my pasty face, this pallet is quite light.

Mac paint pot in Painterly as an eye primer and to blank out the redness of my eyelid.

Blusher- Nars orgasm

Bronzer - Body Shop Honey Bronzer

I would also recommend Charlotte Tilbury Natural Beauy Pallet as the Bronzer, blushes and eyeshadows are all good on pale skin.

Lips- Charlotte Tilbury lip pencil in pillow talk with L'Oréal julianne Moore pink lipstick.

I'm cool toned so

Foundation - LancĂ´me teint idole in 008 or mac in NW10/13
Concealer - Kevyn aucoin sensual skin enhancer in 002, NYX HD in porcelain for under eye
Eyeshadow - anything! ABH modern renaissance or makeup geek. I wear a lot of red/orange/copper tones, sometimes cool toned brows or purples
Brows - had them tattooed so I leave them alone now
Blush - new CID in ice pop
Highlight - make up geek in Lit or Glitz
Lipstick - anything! Usually LA splash lip couture, reds, nudes, pinks

I don't use bronzer as it looks ridiculous on me, I'm v pale almost blue Grin

Day - Laura Mercer tinted moisturiser and Bobbi Brown translucent powder. I dye my lashes, so that is all I need.

Night - Chanel Vitalumiere foundation in Limpide, a Clinique stick blusher (I match the foundation to my forehead and chin, which are much paler than my cheeks, no need to put the colour back!). Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner in Sepia, Clinique waterproof brown mascara. Lipgloss - varies, I have a drawer full. Mostly plums and blackberry shades.

I’m towards the yellow end of the ginger spectrum - I’m pale with freckles, but I do tan a bit and am not proper Celtic pink white. Isla Fisher skin tone rather than Karen Elson (I don’t resemble Isla Fisher in any other respect, sadly Grin).

Thanks girls. I intend to wear same makeup day and night time. So I need to change it. I use concealer all in one from body shop for under my eyes, nose and chin. Then foundation powder from body shop with a big brush. Then cheap eyeshadow from tj hughes and mascara from rimmell as I've got sensitive eyes. An then blusher from boots own make that lasts forever!! And rimmell lipstick or lip gloss.

The foundation powder is all in one base. Does that mean I don't need to use foundation liquid underneath the powder?

Also the concealer that I use for under my eyes cos I have purple rings for not sleeping well, it doesn't cover well. Do I need to use the next shade up as im using the lightest colour.

Fake red here but cool toned with red cheeks and freckles. I use teint idole/LM tinted moisturizer/suqqu OCF 02 for fuller coverage. Clarins concealer and Kevyn Aucoin highlighter. For eyes I use Charlotte Tilbury green and hazel eyes colour chameleon (bronzed garnet or golden quartz day- amethyst aphrodisac night) or high street/drugstore dupes eg Rommel Scandaleyes shadowstick in Bad Girl Bronze- Though CT cc pencils are amazing quality. I also used the CT colours to identify cream shadows for more impact - eg Maybelline colour tattoo in bronze and chanel's rouge noir cream shadow. On Lips, I cover the whole gamut from nude to rouge noir and everything in between Grin

I have red undertones in my hair but yellow skin tones. I use Estée Lauder double wear in Rattan foundation or Mac studio fix. Bourgeois also do yellow toned foundations. Every make up artist I’ve ever seen (not many) have tried to tell me I should wear green eyeshadow which I think looks hideous. I tend to wear brown or neutral eye shadow (I have hazel/green eyes) and dark pinky toned lipsticks.

For under eyes, try an orange or peach to counteract purple then use Bobbi Browns concealer with powder combo (may be called secret camouflage?)

Mac studio fx nw20 foundation and powder
Concealer nyx HD studio once 04

Benefit hoola
Eye liner urban decay bourbon
Mascara either Dior the show or urban decay perversion.

Lipstick I use modesty by Mac but I’ve started using urban decay vice in ravenswood which is so beautiful really makes my teeth white and compliments my red hair. I’ve had so many compliments on the lipstick.

For purple under-eye shadows, you don’t want a darker or heavier concealer. You want a yellow or peach toned concealer to counteract the purple. Benefit Lemon-Aid is good, as is the Bobbi Brown one. I think No 7 do a yellow one too.

You want proper yellow - it will look ridiculous in the packaging and when you immediately apply it, but if you just put a little bit on and blend it well, it will disappear and lighten the purple shadows.

And the purple rings aren’t from not sleeping well, they are just visible blood vessels. Redheads have more translucent skin so they show up more on us. Not much you can do about it unfortunately.
