Wise MNers. I know this has been done before but I can't find any previous threads.
My gorgeous 24 year old DS has a bit of a problem with underarm sweating. He showers twice daily and uses deodorant but it doesn't seem to be working.
What are the strongest and/or most effective deodorants please? (I did do an online search but didn't come up with anything conclusive). He said he's tried Mitchum but it wasn't any good. That was the best advice I could offer.
Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks very much.
I have hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) driclor, triple dry or perspirex are all brilliant. Apply at night before going to bed to completely dry skin and use sparingly, sleep with it in and wash off in the morning, completely stops sweating. Great stuff. I still use normal deodorant as I’m paranoid about smells but it’s nit necessary
I second Driclor, used it as a sweaty teen and it was marvellous. Stings like buggery if you use it post shaving, but probably not a problem for your DS . I found I could stop using it eventually and the problem didn't come back.
My husband has just started using this after a friend went on about it, you apply on wet skin immediately as you get out of the shower, it's aluminium free and has certainly helped on the washing side - his tshirts used to come out the wash still smelling unless washed hot, now they barely smell on the way in!
