You get a travel make up case with quite a good set of products for £65 when you buy a 50ml EL perfume.

I've ordered one as a Christmas present for myself! grin

But now I'm worried that it's not going to suit me as it's not the brand I usually use. Is it fairly good quality in general?

Estée Lauder is very good quality and imo a proper quality old school brand. They've stood the test of time.

Thank you! Yes I have of course heard lots of positives and like you said it's old school which is what I was looking for, and the colours all seem to suit me so I thought it was worth it. My current make up stash needs a bit of an overhaul and this way I get a good base straightaway that I can build on. Thanks for your reply smile

No problem, I think it will be a great base to start with and they would've chosen colours which are neutral to both warm and cool skin tones. Companies like Estée Lauder aren't stupid and wouldn't include colours that many can't carry off, they want customers to be happy and to repeat purchase!

Not sure I can carry off the red shade of lipstick, I've got a very small rosebud-style mouth, but I guess it doesn't hurt to try!

Gearing up for a no-spend on fripperies 2018 so getting it all out of the way with this sort of spend makes sense to me.
