Stylish and warm parka?

Does it exist? I’m trying to find a parka for weekend wear, school run etc. I need it to be warm but also relatively stylish. I don’t want to be too bulked up and look like a sack of potatoes but it does need to have some substance. I’ve tried a few in Oasis and they are either too bulky and look awful on or really thin.

Any suggestions?

What's your budget?

I bought this from Barbour a couple of months ago and it's SO warm it's almost too hot!

Barbour do non wax parkas too. I agree their products are excellent. Still have my wax jacket from years ago!

That Barbour one is nice. It’s looks really thin so it’s interesting that you say it’s very warm.

I looked at sea salt but I only see one parka and it’s a bit long. I looked at their other coats but they don’t float my boat unfortunately.

If you scroll through the pics the fur is removable

Sorry to hijack, but does anyone know if Seasalt has discount codes ever? I fancy a Janelle coat and would hate to miss out on a discount!

I've got a navy blue one from Oasis @Mumagain2017 - the one with the cream
furry removable lining?
I know you said you'd been to Oasis OP but I'm really pleased with my one from there.

I’ve got that Oasis Blossom
Parka here. I ordered it online. I like it but am unsure about the cream lining. Does it leave bits on black clothes?

Comedy are you signed up to their newsletter? Very rarely for seasalt, I’ve seen one 15% I’m a year - if you wait for the sale often the nice stuff is sold out. Their prices are more reasonable than Boden etc though.

Have you looked on fat Face?

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. It's very warm - I have only worn it once so far! Seems to be a little more flattering than some other parkas as the drawstrings add shape.

Margo - That's nice . Does the fur come off?

Checking out FatFace now!

No
The fur on the H & M one doesn't detach.

I've got this parka from Hush and absolutely love it. The fur lining is removable, so good for in-between weather as well.
