Party Dress for grandmother

Where can I buy a party / Xmas dress for my mother - she is 70 - where do your mother’s of that age buy dresses ? M&S is aiming for fifties - and are just not her style -
Think low or v neck - calf length - not tight or close fit. Prefer cotton. Nice pattern like small flowers - with colour not black or dark colours - any ideas even if not above would be helpful - thanks

Mine goes to Hobbs for special occasions. She has some really nice dresses in lovely bright colours ( which I've been tempted to borrow, but she's slimmer than me! )
