Can I wear this to a wedding?

This dress

I know some would say no black to weddings but thought it may be ok given that it's black mesh over a nude colour? I'd wedding-ise it with silvery cream shoes, a cream shawl and maybe a cream & black fascinator. It's a spring wedding (I am being unusually organised and thinking if I need to buy another dress I should do it now)

NB please don't say it's horrible and I shouldn't buy it, I already own it Grin. Just hoping to avoid splashing out on another dress when I don't go to many weddings any more.

Yes, I think it’s fine. Not black-black, and with coloured/cream accessories it will be fine.

Unanimous! Thanks all

I only ever wear it to black tie things and worried that I'd stand out among a load of pastel florals.

But the mn style council has spoken Grin

I’m not keen on black to weddings but I think that’s a gorgeous dress and quite appropriate.

Lovely classy dress, go for light shoes and bag, maybe a wrap if it's a winter wedding.

It's gorgeous! I'd accessorise with red, but I am obsessed with colour Grin Nude or metallic would work too.

I’d wear it with a fuschia coloured wrap. It’s lovely.

That's gorgeous! I've never believed in not wearing black for weddings, I wouldn't recommend turning up looking like you're ready for a funeral but the outfit and accessories you're describing sound gorgeous! Don't worry about what other people say about the dress itself, it's lovely and if you're comfortable and confident in it then that's great too! Everyone looks better when they wear confidence too ;) xx
