Can I wear this to a wedding?

This dress

I know some would say no black to weddings but thought it may be ok given that it's black mesh over a nude colour? I'd wedding-ise it with silvery cream shoes, a cream shawl and maybe a cream & black fascinator. It's a spring wedding (I am being unusually organised and thinking if I need to buy another dress I should do it now)

NB please don't say it's horrible and I shouldn't buy it, I already own it grin. Just hoping to avoid splashing out on another dress when I don't go to many weddings any more.

Yes, I think it’s fine. Not black-black, and with coloured/cream accessories it will be fine.

And now that I have worked out how to add a pic

Unanimous! Thanks all

I only ever wear it to black tie things and worried that I'd stand out among a load of pastel florals.

But the mn style council has spoken grin

I’m not keen on black to weddings but I think that’s a gorgeous dress and quite appropriate.

No problem.

Lovely classy dress, go for light shoes and bag, maybe a wrap if it's a winter wedding.

GiveMeTheTeaAndNobodyGetsHurt Fri 03-Nov-17 18:05:22

It's gorgeous! I'd accessorise with red, but I am obsessed with colour grin Nude or metallic would work too.

Lordasriel Fri 03-Nov-17 18:07:04

I’d wear it with a fuschia coloured wrap. It’s lovely.

catsarenice Fri 03-Nov-17 19:35:01
