Probably very vain of me but the badge lanyard I have to use at work every day ruins all my outfits!!!
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a strong decent looking lanyard instead of the thick green or orange tape I am made to wear!! Grr

Cath Kidston do lanyards as do most surf labels if that’s more your style?

Oh me to - there must be a gap in the market for these.

In devil wears Prada they made a big thing of them all wearing badges on Hermes scarves or such like!

Does it have to go round your neck? I wear mine round my waist or through trouser loops/in my pocket.

There are lots of varieties for sale on eBay as well

I just keep the ones from trade shows.

If the lanyard isn't part of the uniform, you could either create a series of your own lanyards in different colours to suit that days outfit or do away with the lanyard all together and wear the badge as a, well, badge.

As long as it's pinned somewhere visible (like a brooch), then it shouldn't be a problem.

If the badge is also your electronic key to get into and around the building, Ryman sell an extending lead which can be clipped to belts.

My DC teacher has fully crystallised hers! Doubt they're Swarovski, but it looks glorious and bashy.

Yes I do need it round my neck unfortunately and it also has a door opening card.
Cath Kidston isn't my style to be honest. I don't want to make a feature of the lanyard, I'd like it to be less ghastly. Something like a simple silver chain that's long and strong.

Ooh I love the Amazon one

lizabes that's the sort of this I want but that one in particular sounds cheap, from the reviews. Thank you though.

neveradullmoment99 thanks but that's precisely what I don't want to wear.

WhiteVixen that one would be a serious contender but it's too elaborate, I really want something that's plain enough so I can wear my own necklaces.

We Print Lanyards at great. Not the cheapest, but a strong silky lanyard which has done me two years and still looks great.

We were so impressed that we ordered new staff lanyards from them and they look great with the logo and text too.
