HELP! New bag urgently needed

The straps off my beloved (but cheap) black leather backpack broke this morning - it is everything I want in a bag: a backpack so ideal for cycling and just everything, black and leather so smart enough for work, and big enough to fit all my crap in.

Now looking to replace it, but I'm overwhelmed. I want one that is a bit more durable so maybe leather (or vegan leather), and that has an external pocket (v important). I've just got a tax rebate so it can be a bit pricey - up to around £150 if it'll last.

I am lusting after this Michael Kors bag but I definitely can't justify it - so please MN hive mind, find me my dream bag
