I really rated this mascara and have said as much on here in the past. The main reason for the praise was that it was so easy to wash off - no heavy rubbing required. However the last couple of times I've bought it, the formula seems to have changed and it's as difficult to remove as any other mascara I've had. I'm so disappointed. Has anyone else found this?
Hi lipstick. I always remove my make up with either Emma Hardie (my absolute fave) or Elemis balm and hot cloths. Until recently it worked a treat, but there's no doubt in my mind that the formula has changed. So disappointed and now considering others.
My most recent purchase was about 6 weeks ago but I only started using it around 3 weeks ago (I hate to run out so always keep one, unopened, as back-up.
I bought a Chanel one a couple of weeks ago on a recommendation on here, as well as a cheapie from Max Factor and one from Wilko (can you tell I'm desperate!) but I'm not impressed with any of them....
It was Inimitable - the non waterproof version. I wore my Clinique again last night, removed it using the balm, but still had flakes remaining this morning which took some shifting. I'm worried I'm going to damage my lashes when I take it off!
Chanel Le Volume is really good but needs remover to take it off. My daughters changed to it from Benefit. I had Clinique Flutter to Full on yesterday as it is a tubing mascara and should come off with warm water. Which it did, with no black flecks this morning.
Hope it works, OP. I can only wear tubing mascaras as everything else smudges on me, and I find it really frustrating that Clinique (and lots of other brands) are often really cagey about whether or not a mascara is tubing. Flutter to Full, Lash Power, and Bottom Lash are all tubing but you have to read the descriptions to find the phrase 'removes with warm water' to infer this!
