What do you have done at a salon and how often do you go?

Just being nosey really as I'd like to look after myself a bit more but looking through the menu at my local salon I'm struggling to decide what I'd like to try.

Currently I have a facial every month and that's it. I'm not sure what the benefits are supposed to be but I feel pampered afterwards so worth it!

Haircut every 10-12 weeks; brows and toes done every 6. Then, exercise classes in eight week terms, plus skincare, and I am experimenting with a lot to get it right. The rest I do myself.

Hair cut every five weeks, eyebrows threaded every fortnight. Nothing else. I switched to an Aveda salon for my hair about five years ago because my hairdresser moved there, and the higher price meant I had to abandon my monthly facial. My lovely hairdresser is pregnant now, and the guy she’s suggested I see is a good bit cheaper as he used to be her junior until a couple of years back, so I might reintroduce it when she goes on maternity leave.

I do a pedicure at home once a week, paint my one nails every few days, and do face masks in the bath at least once a week. Deforestation is just shaving - less at this time of year now i’m back in opaques, but usually a couple of times a week.

Hair cut and coloured every four weeks

Gel nails every two to three weeks

Brows shaped and tinted and lashes tinted every second time I go for nails.

I find all this lifts my mood immeasurably and gives me confidence. I’m late forties.

For those who have a few treatments done, do you get them all done at once or spread throughout the month?

Haircut every 10-12 weeks, usually with a gloss or conditioning treatment. I have curly red hair and not much grey, so expect this to change if I get more obvious grey.

HD brows and lashes roughly every 8 weeks. PITA that the brows last ages and the lashes not so much. Unless I'm going on hols I tend to just tolerate the pale lashes and use mascara.

Mani / Pedi - occasionally get a Shellac for an occasion or holiday but otherwise do it myself or not at all.

Facial maybe 2-3 times a year as a treat, but I cleanse / tone moisturise and also use masks as I think I need them.

Eyebrows done when I think they're needed! Wax and tint. Probably needed once a month but I'm not that organised

Down below was, as above

Hair - cut and colour - about every 2 months

Nails and toes - same time as down below wax as it's the same woman - maybe every 5/6 weeks?

I shave my legs and under arms. Should shave under my arms every day but they get a bit blotchy so I try and leave it longer

I have long hair that can look raggy quite quickly and if I don't get my nails done I won't do them and I'll look scruffy. Down below is just personal preference

Hair coloured (back to original dark brown as am 50% grey) every 4 weeks, cut every 8 or 12 weeks.
Brows shaped when I can’t control them myself any longer - about every 2 months.
Pedicure at the beginning of summer, then maintain myself.
Manicure once in a blue moon - paint nails myself the old fashioned way (no gel or extensions).
Massage every 1-2 weeks but my physio does that.
I think I will start getting my brows tinted if they go much greyer.
I would quite like some semi permanent make up, as I can’t wear eye make up at all due to ocular rosacea, and think I look hideous without it.

Hair cut and colour every 4 monthsish Blush, mainly because I do the roots myself until I need to have it cut, and it doesn't seem to need cutting that often.
mani/pedi I do myself
legs/underarms/foof are lazered
Thinking about getting facials, don't know which one, but quite fancy a facial massage,
Also like the idea of going for a body massage in general, so might try it

Every 3 weeks for brow shaping and mutant/facial hair sproutage and a pedicure.

On every third apt I have bikini wax and every 4th leg wax. They hardly grow bk now as had them waxed for so long.

Have massage about once a month

@foodiefil I am actually really lazy Blush if I get all that done at the salon, it means I can just wake up and put bronzer and lip gloss on. Half an hour extra in bed each day wins for me Grin

I go for a blowdry twice a week (too lazy & busy + this salon opens at 7.30 AM so I can get my hair done before work).

Nails every 2 weeks

Cleaning facial once at 2 months

Haircut every 6 weeks

Dye once at 4 months

Pedicure once a month in summer once at 2 months in cold season

Hair cut and blowdried once every 2-4 months. Nothing else. I might get a cheap file and polish or mani-pedi once in a blue moon (say once a year) and I used to get the odd facial or massage till I decided they were fun but a waste of money. I also go to the dental hygienist once or twice a year for a scale and polish to keep my teeth white, but that's as much about health as appearance so I'm not sure whether it counts as a salon treatment or not.

Eyebrows waxing every 2/3 weeks. Haircut about 2 times a year or if I see my hairdresser and he tells me I need a trim, long hair and natural colour though so nothing to maintain.
My mum has a gel nails kit and I tend to do my own or we do each other’s, will go to the salon for special occasions.
I’m currently doing my own waxing (except brows) as my hair grows so quick it costs me a small fortune and I’m skint.

Haircut/colour once per year if lucky.

Literally NOTHING else.

I home-dye my brows and shape using those sticky things off amazon. I shave everything off every few weeks. Can’t be arsed with nails etc.

I live in the SE so my overheads are quite high, but I’m astounded at the level of grooming going on! I’m 36 so starting to come apart at the seams a bit, might have to spend more in futureShock

Hair cut every 2 months. Usually colour it at home.

I get my brows done every now and then

Fanny wax (as I call it - not the actual fanny just surrounding area) if I am going on holiday
