Do you have a pair that keep your socks dry?! Grin

If you do-please can you tell me which style you wear?! I have had wet feet all half term.

It depends what you mean. My Docs have a very thick vulcanised sole so are good for puddles and wet pavements, but if you mean from rain hitting the boots then nothing is waterproof unless it's properly marketed as waterproof with taped seams.

I’ve never got wet feet with fly boots. I’ve had lots of the boots over years but never had an issue.

I must have dodgy boots then as they all seem to leak and make my feet wet!

Non leaky flys here. I think the Mols leak or Mes? I don't have those, I've got Seca ones.

i wear dr martens all winter and have never had soggy feet. I have five pairs currently that i rotate and always have warm dry feet in them. Mine are just the bog standard dr martens boots, the classic shape with the airwair soles and goodyear welting

Never had wet feet in my Docs during normal use, what are doing? Wading in rivers?

Not meaning to sound rude but could it be sweaty feet rather than wet feet? My docs don't leak but can get bit damp if my feet get warm!!

My Fly boots leak too, from the first wear! I’ve got two pairs of suede Rocket dog Sugar Daddy boots - sprayed them to make them water resistant(ish) and they’re fine.

Leaky Fly boots, but I have 4 pairs of DMs and they are absolutely waterproof.

I've worn 8 hole DM's for year and never had a problem with wet feet, except for time I waded across a river in them! I must say though that that's usually urban wearing only, so pavements and public transport or cars and only the odd bit of puddle-jumping.

*for years, not one year. Sorry, temperamental key board.

I wear Dr Martens Gayle (lined and non lined) and a pair of the new Rigals. Neither leak.

No wading in rivers or sweaty feet-just leaking!

Where do they leak though? Is it coming through the leather, or the soles?

SoupDragon · 26/10/2017 18:53

I've had three pairs of Fly boots. They all leaked in wet weather. I'd never buy them again.

I think they leak between the sole and the upper.

Leaky fly mols here. Sad because I love them, I just don't wear then in the wet! DMs fine though.

Yes-it's leaking between the sole and upper-it's my toes that get wet.

I have both Mes and Mol.

My fly boots have just started leaking after three years Envy

I have a timberland pair of boots which have never leaked!

My fly boots leaked right from the start. Couldn’t cope with any wet weather at all. I wouldn’t buy them again as I think winter boots should have some level of resistance. They leaked when it was damp! I’ve got better boots for much cheaper. Shame as I like fly styles.

I have 7 pairs of Fly
All Amazon purchases
Dunno if that makes a difference
No leakers
But my £140 Dune boots that was another story.....

My DMs don't leak, I've had the same pair of 8 holes for 25 years and they are in perfect nick.

I've had 3 pairs of Fly boots and they've never leaked. I know lots say theirs do but I've never had that problem.

My Fly boots (Mes or mol) leaked horribly, I would get wet feet even avoiding the smallest puddle.

I have a different Fly style (less comfy unfortunately) that don't leak, but I wish the comfy ones would at least have some water resistance, they're not the sort of thing you'd wear in summer!
