Uniqlo has some nice classic designs in wool around the £100 mark.

New look have an amazing one, just like a Whistles coat I bought years ago. Something crazy like £40

I really like this coat, herringbone rather than all grey though: www.joythestore.com/joy-herringbone-invert-collar-69173

I got this coat from Next recently. Looks lovely on and goes well with smart or casual gear - www.next.co.uk/g212018s6#190935

If you get the grey new look coat size down. It's very big fitting. I had to return. I have a grey wool blend coat from zara that I love. Got it on offer for about £40, it's been going strong for years and has only started bobbling at the cuffs now.

Does that new look coat have any warmth in it? I'm losing weight fairly rapidly at the moment and last year's coat which was quite expensive is now huge on me. Don't want to either have it altered or buy another expensive one when there is a good chance it won't fit me again by Xmas.
