Girls Christmas party outfits

I need dresses and shoes for my 10 and 3 year old DD’s for a Christmas party.

I really like the angel faces tutus with tights and a little cardigan. You can pick up some bargains on eBay as the skirts are quite pricey x

I got dd a gorgeous velvety like dress from Morrisons with gold stars all over it for Christmas, it's lovely, wish it came in grown up sizes! It was about £10.

Heeled shoes are a health and safety hazard, and restrict what we can do, even for adult women: why on earth would you inflict them on a 10yo? Plenty of other good and safe/healthy options.

Dont be ridiculous, shes maybe going to wear 1 inch heels for a couple of hours because she has asked to! I'm not forcing her into stilettos and will be bringing her a change of shoes in case her feet hurt.
Anything could be a bloody health an safety hazard, try having some fun!

Boys are encouraged to wear practical shoes that enable them to climb, play, dance. Girls are given this sort of shit.

I wouldnt enocurage any of my children to do anything they didnt want to, if any of my sons really wanted them then they would get them.
DD has trainers and practical shoes for climbing / playing / dancing, but she wanted these for the party.

Girls only want this stuff, and boys don’t, because of social conditioning. Boys and men wear practical shoes to parties.

I like a party outfit for my DDs, but it’s depressing that heels are sold to young girls.

Thats just not true, if thats how you have chosen to raise your children then that is your fault not mine. I let my children like what they want to like.
My 3 year old dd would never wear pink or heels because she dosnt like that. My 4 year old son loves glitter and is wearing glittery slip ons (not practicle for climbing) and we are looking for a glittery top for him. My 8 year old son is probably wearing loafers to the party, they are not the most practicle either.
In case you were confused we are not going to a christmas climbing party and so footwear does not have to be practicle for climbing.
It just so happens that my 10 year old dd likes 'girly things' such as heels, so I support her and let her wear what she is happy and comfortable wearing.
They are not exactly selling stilettos for kids, it barely has a one inch heel! How can that be depressing? There are much bigger issues you could be worrying about. We dont force all 10 year old girls to wear heels and there are hundred of 'practicle' options for them.

temps those shoes appear to have heels of the same height as my husband's dress uniform shoes. If the armed forces think they are OK march in I'm sure your daughter will manage for a few hours at a party.
