I'll be leaving for the airport tomorrow in the midst of Storm Brian, and arriving in Porches in 28 degree heat apparently. I'm rubbish at travel dressing as it is! Shall I just freeze at the airport in shorts, wear layers (no idea how to do this and not look like Mr Tumble), boil on the other side until I get to the hotel...? Help!
I normally pack something to change into at the airport when landing so wear tshirt, cardy, jeans then off the plane, get cases open up have shorts and flip flops top of the case or carry the flip flops in bag to wear on the plane. Lucky you, have a fab time! The plane can be chilly sometimes so handy to have something to slip on.
I'd wear a tshirt dress over some floaty trousers, half tucked in at the front with a lightweight cardigan. whip off the trousers and cardigan in the airport at the other end, tie the cardigan around my bag handles and put my sunglasses on. May not be stylish but I'd rather be comfortable than a hot sweaty mess.
