Big, snug, roll neck jumper!

The last couple of years, as autumn kicks in, I’ve had a yearning for a big, snug, roll neck jumper. Oversized and cable knit. You know the type, the ones you snuggle up in, on a cold day that never gets washed enough because you never want to take it off!

I can’t find the perfect one anywhere! They’re either too short or they’re shaped or the wool isn’t thick enough!

Has anyone seen one anywhere? I’m not too fussed about colour (although navy or cream would be preferable).

Try Celtic and Co. I got a beauty from Biden last year - it wasn't a cable knit but was a lovely, relaxed fit rollneck.

Zara had some oversized roll necks last time I looked

I am lusting after this, but it's a bit spendy given I'd probably not wear it outside simply because I don't like huge jumpers under my coat.

brora - but don’t even look if you want to spend less than £350

zara has some fantastic ones in at the moment. I tried on the high crew neck arran with black lace overlay today (it also comes in roll neck) which is fantastically warm. At £50 it feels a little beyond zara money to me - I can't imagine it washes brilliantly?

Thanks so much everyone

@Nameless21 good Christ - I could seriously bankrupt myself on Celtic and Co. Their knitwear is amazing!

Off to look at the rest of the suggestions

Don't know what your budget is, but have a look at Pure. They're not exactly what you're after, but their cashmere jumpers are like wearing a cuddle. They aren't thick, so don't look particularly cosy, but they so are!

Soft and warm and luvverly.

The jumper Cherries suggested is amazing, only trouble is I would want it in every colour 😄

Try Joules! I bought a jumper exactly like you describe there this time last year, their eBay outlet is quite good

I bought a couple at the weekend from tkmaxx 2 were identical to the poetry one cherries linked above but.... they were merino/cashmere/wool mix AND they were £25 each. I bought another from there in a gorgeous forest green for £15 and I’ve barely taken it off since I bought it!! I never get a chance to get out and ship (3 small dcs) but when I got a rare chance to tkmax was an absolute goldmine!!!
