I have rather foolishly bought a couple of dresses that are mainly navy or navy-based and not sure what to wear with them - I know some people do the whole black tights/boots anyway but I'm not convinced. What do you wear on your feet with navy clothes?
I am thinking of flat ankle boots (maybe Chelsea boots?) but what colour? Blue? Brown? Tan or dark brown? Is this wise? Any better suggestions?
Would have to be totally flat, I have some ankle boots with small heel but never wear them for long as they hurt my feet. They need to be practical as I will be walking to school - nothing glamorous as I don't need it (just given up work, hence entire style crisis). I'm mid-40s and pudgy and not at all fashionable and don't want to spend much over £100 but ideally a lot less
I have today finally bought navy tights and looked at boots but a bit lost. M&S have these blue suede boots but suede isn't practical.
Also blue and bargainous since I'm a bit unsure and don't want to spend a fortune?
Or something in tan maybe?
Or I also saw some dark brown?
HALP!
