“The Original” skincare

Has anyone had any experience of “The Original” skincare? It’s supposed to be excellent but very budget-friendly. It’s only sold in a few places and I’m flying out to NYC soon, and I’m thinking of hitting the chemist and stocking up. Any recommendations? I am 40 so keen on anti-aging stuff, but I also have quite oily skin in the T zone and large pores near to my nose. I currently use a mix of Dermalogica, Estée Lauder and No.7 but I’d like to have more of a “regime”. Thoughts?

If you email them they can advise you on a routine

It's sold at ASOS, Victoria Health, Cult Beauty, QVC and more!

Thanks! I’m in the US, so limited access to some of those, but I look forward to reading the article.

I'm trying the alpha lipoid acid, I'm 40 with oily skin but I've only used it once.

I use a la Roche posay SPF 50 everyday anyway but it can make skin sensitive to sunlight so if you don't already wear a sunblock you'd have to with that.

I've just discovered the Ordinary and am very impressed so far. Awaiting my second delivery of things now. So affordable you can try things out. I must admit though, I had to do a lot of online reading to try to make sense of it all as I was a complete novice. There's plenty of reviews online from beauty editors etc. Do try and read up on it all first to get the best items for your skin type, and also which items should not be used at the same time.

There’s already a thread here which might help.

I had an email from Victoria Health a bit since saying that they weren’t doing the personalised regimes any more.

I've emailed Deciem, the parent company, before and been given a personalized routine. I contacted them through instagram and they got back to me the next day. They do the same through their website

If you look up Wayne Goss on youtube, he has a few videos about this brand and goes through a mini skincare routine.

I am planning on stocking up but I just cant make my mind up on which to get!
