black parka with black furry hood

For the last two years I've been looking for the perfect parka. I'd like it to be black, smart, warm, bum covering and preferably without a belt. I'd like it to have a really lovely fluffy black furry hood (that looks and feels like real fur but isn't!) Budget about £200 but willing to pay more for the perfect coat. Have any of you seen anything that fits the brief? I'm beginning to think my perfect coat doesn't exist. But I'm sure it must as I've seen people wearing them (including OH's STBXW but he has no idea where she got her's from!)

I've seen that one @mamado but I don't think it's quite long enough.

I got a lovely one from Lands End a few years ago. Down filled. Really comfy and warm.

I've had a look at their website and they have a few different ones similar to mine.

Have a look at this one

I think the link has worked. Just click on the black option to see it.

I got a Northface one a few years ago. Terrific large furry hood and super warm.

Im looking for exactly this same thing! Ideally a fishtail parka with loads of black faux fur around the hood!

I've lost 4st and my trusty trespass has been very draughty. As I'm planning on losing more weight I didn't want to spend a lot of money. But this is warm and cosy and will be fab outside in the nursery garden.

The lands end one would be perfect if it was just a little bit shorter.

Well done on your weight loss @groovee

Landsend do several coats like the one above. In different lengths (so I think the linked one is almost knee length, but there are also mid-thigh length and another a little shorter). They also have petite versions which are usually another couple of inches shorter - measurements are usually given in the description.
Definitely worth having a proper look around their website - especially at the sale stuff (can be bargainous) and I think there is a 25% off code today when you log in.

imaddictedtomn Tue 19-Sep-17 22:04:11

Yes the one I got definitely came in different lengths so it's worth checking them all out.

Thanks @justpoppy I'm gonna miss my trespass as it cost me £15 in a sale and was fantastic in crap weather x

I really like this one

Fur round hoods look lovely but aren't quite so nice or practical when the hood is up and it's pouring with rain. sad
