Sainsburys Tu - likelihood of a 25% event soon?

(I know it' s hardly haute couture style, but I'd rather have 25% off than not.)

They seem to hold the events quite regularly so am loathe to order now and tomorrow find out one is starting! Anyone in the know please?

It only finished a couple of weeks ago, so I'd have thought around half term for the next one.

Should start on 24th October

I read on another thread on here that there's one starting 19th September?

Dammit.

I must've missed the last one - I avoid the big Sainsburys near me in school hols as it seems like every bugger and their entire extended family goes there on a weekday lunchtime for a full shop tour, when I just want to dash round and get out again.

Might order now then, cheers.

Oh wait what @HariboFrenzy I read on another thread on here that there's one starting 19th September?

Well I can certainly wait till next Tuesday! And if nothing appears, no big deal and I can just order anyway.

Am I right in thinking that the discount includes all the online clothes too?

Report
ShotsFired · 13/09/2017 20:17

yes it does.

How long does it last for?

I love it. I get DDs school shoes & fake converse for about £2.40 a pair, if they are already reduced.

My best ones were £1 for school shoes, I have put away for her.

they are 3 sizes too big

Ooh thanks, eyeing up a few bits and 25% off is always a bonus!!!

I am trying to work out how ridiculous I'd look in the dungarees I saw in there the other day. 25% off next week might push me into dangerous territory.

I didn't realise that they have a premium clothing range. Spied a lovely 100% cream silk shirt last week for £40. Will try and nab one next week with the discount!

is that a general code @CoolCarrie, or a personalised one just for you?

I think it could be for me as I signed up to the TU newsletter, but I could post it now and see what happens.

Report
CoolCarrie · 14/09/2017 13:24

I think it is just for me as a sign up offer. I am going to wait until next week's offer which is better.

Is it definately the 19th?

I can confirm the 25% is on from today - I just got all the items I wanted and saved several ££ Grin

(Interestingly, I actually added them to my basket yesterday and they stayed saved there till today. I have never tried that before but will remember for future as I know stock sells out quickly during these events)

ShotsFired - not sure if that technique always works. I put a pair of jeans in my shopping basket this morning, along with other items. They were low in stock, but still went in. Couldn't get to the payment screen to work, so thought I'd come back in half an hour to see if it worked then. Came back, and there was a message saying that the jeans had been removed from my shopping basket because they weren't now in stock. Grr.
