Anyone own Tesco jeans? What is the sizing like?

I have lost just over a couple of stone and got a big shopping trip planned to London in 6 weeks. (I live in the Midlands) The weather is getting more autumn like daily and I am starting to feel a bit chilly in denim shorts and other summer bits I have. I really don't have any jeans that fit anymore they are all to big. About to pop to Tesco food shopping and thought I would give their contour jeans a go, cheap at £20ish a pair so not bothered if only wear them up until my big clothes shop. Could I ask what the sizing is like? Compared to the likes of Next, a 12 in Next is no big need a belt to keep them up, I can pull them down without undoing button and zip but the 10's feel slightly to tight a couple of pounds more and will be a good fit. Thank you

I will try them on in store but will have 3 dc with me so a rough starting point would be an advantage as you can only take 2 items in the fitting room with you.

I'd say quite generous. I have Tesco cropped jeans in size 12 and need a belt / can pull them up and down without undoing the button.
I wear a size 14 in FatFace and Next.

Yes to generous sizes, but quite nicely cut, especially for supermarket jeans.
They're quite long though, I have a pair that are supposed to be cropped and they come just to my ankles. I'm short though.

Mine are a 12 and I'm a 14 in next, New look. (And bizarrely an 8/10 in asda)

Yes very generous or at least the ones I bought last year are, I'm a good solid 14 and the 10s fit perfectly. They're actually great jeans but the sizing is (pleasantly and flatteringly) way off

I think they're quite generous.
I normally take a size 8 and in Tesco I have to wear a size 6 and even have room in some of the styles.

Oh good to know about the length I am only 5ft 3 but have long legs and a short body. Next regular length are perfect on me their short/petite rang are to short. I might even fit into a size 8 again how exciting if this is the case I may start buying all my clothes from Tesco!

I own two pairs of Tesco jeans-bought in the last few months. I bought a blue pair and loved them so much I bought some in black! I'm size 8 and find them true to size! I own the skinny pairs. Best jeans I've owned in a while!Smile

The size 10 reg fitted perfectly hopefully they don't loosen to much as I would need a belt, although tumble drying usually shrinks them back in. I could of got away with the 8 as I could do them up just not as comfortable.

I love Tesco jeans because I fit into their size 14 stretchy jeans (like actually fit not squeezed into and I'm a size 18 everywhere else...

I wish womens clothes were sized more like mens so we all knew what size we are. Keep the size numbers we have now but make it so all shops size 6 are an x amount of inches waist and the sizes go up in 1 or 2 inches. If a man has a 34 inch waist he can go into any shop as know he is a size 34 as 34inches is 34 inches, makes me so angry lol.

I have size 14, cropped jeans from Tesco and they're a bit big. Had to take them in. Got ,2 pairs as hard to find now that skinny jeans are in. Slightly flared mid calf. If anyone has a 12 and wants to swap let me know!
