Can I wear a bright dress if my hair is bright red?

Or will I look ridiculous?

I have bought a dress online not realising how red it is. It's very red. As is my hair

It's a skater style one with a cut out back. It's for a birthday party tomorrow night. I'm unsure.

Partner says it looks fine but I don't even think he was looking at me Grin

I follow someone on Flickr who has recently dyed her hair bright red and has started wearing red to complement it. Before, her hair was very dark and she sometimes wore burgundy but never bright red. I think if you are the kind of person who is happy with bright red hair then it would be a bit odd to dress in a very self-effacing way - embrace the brightness!

Mat know = match

I'm not a matchy person. I wear bright colours all the time, just not bright red.

Usually neon colours.

Glad it won't look silly.

I am a redhead and it very much depends on the same criteria as everyone else - the type of red and your skin tone.

I'm a redhead and never used to wear red or pink (because my mum told me redheads cant.....), But now I am happy to wear red and pink (But not together!) Go for it!!

When I was young my hair was naturally very red. I loved wearing all the colours they said I shouldn't. My mum made a shocking pink jumpsuit- I adored it. Wear whatever colours you want- rules are made to be broken when it comes to red heads!

I've just never liked to match. But I really like the dress.

A quick dye is needed for the roots today. Dress is hanging up.

Hope the rain stops by tonight.

Gorgeous. When I was growing up red-haired girls were only ever allowed to wear green, so it seemed. So dull and restrictive.

I love it that things have moved on and think red hair with mad bright colours looks fantastic!

Wear the dress and maybe do a navy smoky eye look and nude lips.

Oh make up is lost on me. I do bit of eye liner, mascara and blush. Sometimes lip stick.

I don't got my first eye shadow palate 2 week ago and I don't like it. I don't know what I'm doing
