DP Shaving

At times I have felt like the only woman in living memory that has never undertaken some form of beauty regime down below if you know what I mean (!). Anyway, I am going to take the plunge and whip it all off once I have settled on which cream to use. My DP has offered to do it for me which I quite like the idea of, however I would be interested to know if anyone else lets their significant other undertake such an intimate job and if it is pleasurable?

Erm.. I'm not sure where to start really. Is this a sex thing or a beauty thing?
The pleasurable bit threw me. Hmm

You think people will find hair removal pleasurable Confused

Very much a beauty thing......
I cannot face waxing (or any of the other gruesome sounding methods available) but getting DP to do it is an option. I am slightly larger than average and not always straightforward.

(I use an electric razor then Lumea, which involves me + bathroom floor + small mirror. can't quite get the perineum as smooth as when I used to get Hollywood bikini waxes, but no fucking way am I asking DH to pluck strays from my bumbeard thank you very much.)

Shame people feel the need to turn this into something sexual.
Guess I will have to keep quiet. MN used to be quite good....

Right then. Did you forget you said this.....

Did anyone else read 'pleasureable' in their heads as a sort of 70s moustachioed porn star?

Enter plumber to fix the washing machine stage left....

(OP you're the one who asked if it was a pleasurable experience to have your fanjo shaved by your partner. The rest of us either get a beautician to wax or shave ourselves cos there's fuck all sexy about hair removal)

My exp shaved me once when i was heavily pregnant with DC1. No it wasn't pleasurable, got a couple of nicks in the process. Never happened again.

Trim it first then use an oil, not cream.
Yes it can be very pleasurable.

Many thanks to those who have given positive advice.
I feel sorry for the rest of you who appear a little jaded and bitter with life for some reason......?
For many women, an anonymous forum like this is a lifeline if you do not feel confident enough to discuss in RL.

sx it's the fact that you asked if it would be pleasurable. Pleasure isn't something one normally associates with hair removal.

If this is in fact a serious question, in the hundreds of threads on hair removal, I think you'd be hard pushed to find many people singing the praises of lady garden maintenance as an erotic activity

A serious answer - for most people, the prospect of having their partner holding their labia taut and going at them with a razor wouldn't be their idea of foreplay

If you want it all off, go and get a wax. Don't get a strip wax for the love of god. Get a hot wax - preferably a lycon wax. Barely hurts and you'll float out feeling AMAZING

Shaving doesn't get anywhere close to as smooth as a wax does. And regrowth is horrible.

The feeling of a freshly waxed downstairs - now THAT will get you in the mood

Your partner trying not to nick your perineum with a razor blade, not so much

When I was 18 the bloke decided he liked the idea of a bit of lady garden pruning. Sadly we were in his bedroom in his parents house so couldn't do this with a razor and some soap in a nice private bathroom. So he went at me with a pair of scissors. I still have the scar!! (And it is one of my funniest (and least erotic) memories)
