Right. Have some new cage heels which I adore...but are they too vampy for this dress? Wedding tomorrow, so need to decide tonight.

livefrommysofa Fri 30-Jun-17 18:30:59

They look lovely, also I'm loving the flat pump you're wearing on the other foot! smile

LittleBrighton Fri 30-Jun-17 18:51:51

They look ace! Really spice up the dress wink

Anycakeisgoodcake Fri 30-Jun-17 19:33:43

It's all a bit ''Italian widow' for my taste at a summer wedding, you could do with a pop of colour really - unless you've got that covered with your bag?

BillywigSting Fri 30-Jun-17 19:36:50

They're lovely. Do you have a bag to go with the nail polish on your toes? That would be enough colour I think.

burnishedsilver Fri 30-Jun-17 19:37:02

Lovely.

nina2b Fri 30-Jun-17 19:39:18

They jazz up the dress.

DuchessOfBelvoir Fri 30-Jun-17 19:41:19

They look tremendous, really vair elegant. Tell us more, where are they from? Is it an evening do?
I agree about the pop of colour.

AlistairSim Fri 30-Jun-17 19:42:15

They're very pretty but the danger is that by the end of the day your flesh will swell through the gaps, never a good look!

MaQueen Fri 30-Jun-17 19:56:22

I was thinking that all the black was a bit Mafia Widow...the bag I was going to carry is small, and sort of draped with black lace and ribbon. I do have a powder pink bag, or a silver one?

The shoes are from Steve Madden, and it's a church wedding + evening reception.

ThumbWitchesAbroad Fri 30-Jun-17 21:10:18

Oh Lord, you can't be using a black lace dripping bag with that lot, people will start to wonder if you're one of the groom's exes!! shock

Liven it up with some colour.

IHaveBrilloHair Fri 30-Jun-17 21:26:03

Crikey, one foot is old granny and the other is 18yr old hooker.
Do you have an alternative?
Although if it's evening do the black ones might be ok, if it's not then why the black dress?

Gosh, sorry, that's really negative, I just don't think it's right for a wedding.

MaQueen Fri 30-Jun-17 21:40:30

18 year old hooker? Really hmm

MaQueen Fri 30-Jun-17 21:42:22

I think I'll carry my dusky pink bag for a pop of colour, and I have a dusky pink pashmina somewhere...think I'll need it, as don't think it's going to be all that warm tomorrow.

FaithHopeCharityDesperation Fri 30-Jun-17 21:43:27

I love them!

Have you a bag in a mega bright colour?
The colour of the other shoe is the sort of bag/accessories colour I'd go for.

Love that dress. Where from?

Cage shoes look good with it but think that a black lace bag thing will be a bit too Queen Victoria in deep mourning for a wedding. Pink or silver both sound good.

FaithHopeCharityDesperation Fri 30-Jun-17 21:44:19

Sorry, cross post...
Dusky pink will look good.

TSSDNCOP Fri 30-Jun-17 21:46:05

Very nice. Silver bag. Drink lots of water though, if you get a bit hot and bothered your feet will swell up and pop through the lattice.

MaQueen Fri 30-Jun-17 22:37:55

Ta. Dress from Laura Ashley.

Flat shoes are bright red, but don't have a red bag.

MaQueen Fri 30-Jun-17 22:42:48

Just remembered I have some blush pink velvet loafers, very plain, never worn yet...but DH says they look like slippers hmm

MaQueen Fri 30-Jun-17 22:43:56

Will drinking copious amounts of champagne stop the swelling too...yes, yes I am sure it will...

MotherMucca Fri 30-Jun-17 23:57:40

They're lovely. I almost got some when I was last in Primark but at 40, I'm far too old to pull them off.

Nettletheelf Sat 01-Jul-17 00:38:35

Be MORE vampy. The cage heels are great. The dress a bit loose maybe?

Don't wear the flat red shoes.

Nettletheelf Sat 01-Jul-17 00:39:38

40 is not too old to pull off saucy shoes!

WowserBowser Sat 01-Jul-17 06:44:41

The red look a bit like you're wearing a babybel on your foot.

Can we see the other choices and bags?
