Any suggestions...I need flat/sensible heel as will be baby wearing DS. The wedding is outdoor and on Saturday! Don't have any idea of a colour or style...thank you in advance

Please help as the shoes I have picked thus far are awful!

How about either of these, from boden?

margaritasbythesea Thu 29-Jun-17 12:56:15

I haven´t found any so far I would recommend

AIMGA Thu 29-Jun-17 13:14:37

I like the slingbacks burnished , will have a look at Boden.

Thanks anyway margarita, I have left it so late and now panicking grin

margaritasbythesea Thu 29-Jun-17 13:37:57

The Boden slingbacks are good

margaritasbythesea Thu 29-Jun-17 13:51:35

I don´t think you can do better than those but here is what I have found which might be good if Boden are too pricey or sold out.
Dune ruffles

cheap but not leather so might look out of place with lovely dress.

margaritasbythesea Thu 29-Jun-17 13:54:33

ditto for Dorothy Perkins

Lands End roound toe

Boden still the best!

OP are you looking to order online (one day shipping?) or do you need a bricks-and-mortar option?

AIMGA Thu 29-Jun-17 14:24:04

Would like bricks &mortar incase online delivery fails me!! (Not mainland!)

AIMGA Thu 29-Jun-17 14:25:32

I like all the suggestions - thank you. I was hoping for something a bit 'special' but actually I think only a plain shoe will really go smile will order the Boden ones...fingers crossed for delivery!!

WhooooAmI24601 Thu 29-Jun-17 14:33:48

The Boden ones are lovely, and their delivery has never failed me yet so fingers crossed. The dress is beautiful, too.

user1490142285 Thu 29-Jun-17 15:57:22

OP I'm sure it will all be fine! Is there a local M&S where you could speed over if the Boden shoes don't work? They have a few options in a pinch, mainly ballet flats in navy or metallics and white slingbacks which look a bit groovy/80s but maybe not for everyone.

user1490142285 Thu 29-Jun-17 15:58:39

I am just being belt-and-braces though. smile

AIMGA Thu 29-Jun-17 18:00:54

Thanks User may nip to m&s tomorrow as a back up...haven't been to a wedding in ages so quite excited but also worried about not getting it right!

AIMGA Thu 29-Jun-17 18:01:50

Thanks whooo !

MrsChopper Thu 29-Jun-17 19:57:37

Holly Willoughby wore a similar dress recently with nude shoes.
this pair would be nice.

AIMGA have a lovely time!

I used to think it was just me who felt worried about not getting it right but eventually found out that many people struggle with wedding guest outfit anxiety. The dress is great, I'm sure you'll look fab.

Thanks User I am a SAHM and sometimes feel like I haven't got a clue when it comes to fashion/wedding etiquette smile

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!!

AIMGA Fri 30-Jun-17 19:29:30

I will give you all a laugh and show you the ones I was going to get before I asked for your advice!! (The flat ones!)

lobsterface Fri 30-Jun-17 19:31:27

They're so pretty though!

AIMGA Fri 30-Jun-17 20:36:32

Haha! DH laughed his socks off when I showed them to him blush

hollyisalovelyname Fri 30-Jun-17 20:39:32

Amiga the toe IN ones are lovely but they might clash with the pattern on the dress.

I wonder what you got op. I hope you're having a lovely time.

You could add a sparkly shoe clip to plain shoes for the wedding.
