Is it normal for a Brazilian blow dry to just not work?

I got a free (because the hairdresser messed up my hair so badly with a bad haircut) Brazilian blow dry. My hair is seriously course and frizzy and thick. I got it done Sunday. Left the 48 hours without touching it as advised then washed it with the super expensive morocccon oil shampoo And conditioner combo and other than it being softer (less coarse in texture) and slightly less frizzy there's not much difference. It still needs to be straightened to look less Worzel gummage-y. Is this normal or should I contact them? Although pretty awkward contacting them again given this was complimentary!

I do the Brazilian treatment on myself about 3 times a year.
It makes a huge difference to my really curly, course, frizzy hair.
It still needs straightening but is so much quicker to do and lasts all day, whereas any moisture before would make me frizzy.
I always use the sulphate free products and leave for about 4 days after 1st applied.

Hmmm... maybe I need to try straightening it? I just thought I'd leave it and it wouldn't need anything? I'll try a quick straighten. She told me 48 hours. I washed it off when the 48 hours was up as I thought I had to. Maybe I should have left it longer. Thanks for the advice.

I think Brazilian blowdry won't make it straight unless your hair is just wavy like mine. It will just take out the frizz in curly hair.

I wanted to add that some products you can wash your hair immediately, some you wash after 4 days and then yours which is 48 hours. They're not all the same so if she said 48 hours then you've followed the correct instructions. Like another said it won't make it miraculously straight, you will still need to blow dry and style it yourself as per normal. What it will do it make this job really easy, it takes the frizz out and makes hair much more manageable. It's not a reverse perm. I love them because a normal blow dry for my hair with a Babylis Big Hair takes about 30 mins, after I've had a straightening treatment I can do a better job in 10 mins.

Oh i love the babyliss big hair effect on mine but it just takes too long... maybe I need to look into a reverse perm then!

Thanks for all the advice!
