Where do tweens shop?

DD is 10. I was surprised to learn at the weekend that Next round here don't stock anything above age 12 in their shop. Although we can order it online if we'd like Hmm. Nor do many of the other places we went to.

So, where do tweens get their clothes from? I feel like I need to get prepared!

H&M do some really lovely clothes for that age group. Quite quirky and prices are good too.

New Look, H&M, Matalan and online from Next. I also let her look in the adult sections as she's tall enough.

H&M for odd bits but my nearly 12 year old is quite alternative and loves steam punk type clothing which is even harder to find Hmm
She's in adult size 6-8 which fits well and has more choice.
We aren't into the summery mint and pales in our house Wink
I find blue banana really good and we have an amazing emporium that I buy bits from as it's expensive.
Next has never fitted my dc very well anyway and I find the quality has dramatically gone doewnhill in the last few years

Less so just because she's petite:

Thanks - I need to expand our horizons! We ended up getting some bits in H&M, but she couldn't find much she really liked. There isn't an M&Co nearby, but I'll bear it in mind when we go a bit further afield - I'd forgotten about it but did like their stuff last time we went.

It doesn't help that she's so skinny, bottoms are limited to those that still have the adjustable waist on them, hence Next as they're good at including it! Lots of places seem to give up on it from about age 8 or so.
