I had a thread about a maxi dress but can't find it...this is the one I ended up getting and it is extraordinary! I wanted one that wasn't revealing, yet summery, and comfy but not kaftan-y and not £££££s but not a Primark "I'll just pop this on to hoover in this heat"

Here it is! And it's in the sale! It is the softest softest linen (I'd have thought some kind of polyester/knit it's so soft.)

Jigsaw Dress

I'm a little bit in love. Grin

Sold out :-(

Melstarrynight · 23/06/2017 07:00

Already out of stock ☹️

VintagePerfumista · 23/06/2017 07:00

Shock

People might bring it back. (Except they won't, because it's so perfect!)

I have never bought from Jigsaw before, but I am going to do it more often if this is the quality and style.

Oh, just noticed from the reviews it's 2016 stock...I got it from an ebay outlet but bnwt and at the sale price on the site so thought it must be current stock.

Ignore me, sorry! Blush

Getting over-enthusiastic in my excitement to share!

It's lovely but not universally flattering I think. It would make my bottom look huuuuuuuge.

VintagePerfumista · 23/06/2017 07:17

It is very generous, I do need to do the belt thing with it.

£49 That's my annual clothes budget :-(

ShinyGirl · 23/06/2017 07:20

Its linen.

Bluntness100 · 23/06/2017 07:22

Actually that's lovely. I'm not really a fan of maxi dresses but I would wear that.

TheHiphopopotamus · 23/06/2017 07:42

If it's linen won't it look all creased after you've had it on for longer than five minutes?

Have you worn it for any length of time yet? It is lovely though. Very understated.

VintagePerfumista · 23/06/2017 07:52

That's what I thought about the linen- but it's "linen jersey mix" whatever that is, and you wouldn't know it was linen really. It almost feels like a very very very fine wool knit.

It just falls back into place on the hanger.

I've worn it for a whole morning so far, and not a crease. I usually avoid linen as I end up looking like a sack of taters.

Lovely dress, I would be tempted to buy it were it in stock!

Jigsaw is excellent quality - I used to buy all my work suits from there before moving abroad.
