Swedish Hasbeens

Sorry if this has been done to death, cant find any recent thread on this.

I have been coveting a pair of Swedish Hasbeens for years but previously they only seemed to go up to a size 7 and I am an 8. For some reason I decided to look at the site again yesterday and was delighted to see they now go up to an 8! I really want to treat myself to a pair but to avoid the disappointment and hassle of having to return them, I have a couple of questions I'd be grateful if anybody here could answer.

Are the sky highs ridiculously uncomfortable? The style that I like are Sky Highs. Being that they're a block heel, I reckon it shouldn't be too bad.
Whats the leather like? Does it give? Will it cut my feet to shreds?
Do they run small? Please say they don't! I have that problem with some Zara shoes but not all.
Do they take forever and a day to break in?

Any feedback will be gratefully received!

I love mine- not had a problem with them!
I have sky highs and can wear them all day comfortably.

The sizing guide on their own website is pretty accurate. I found the sky highs long and narrow, so sized down. I can't walk in them all day, they are going out shoes for me, but I don't wear heels much. The clog bit, the wooden sole I didn't have a problem with at all.

The highs are much better for all day wear, but a different look.

People will be on to recommend Lotta from Stockholm, she does practically the same styles, plus loads more, and they are significantly cheaper, but are not as good quality. They are much heavier, the best thing about Swedish Hasbeens is how light they are, which compensates for the wooden clog bit if you are not used.

They are the most uncomfortable shoes I own. Not the heel height but it's the leather that runs across the front of my foot - I find it very stiff and it rubs. Have had them for years and have yet to leave the house wearing them and I usually have a high-ish pain threshold re shoes!

I love the look of them though.

I have them + find them ok . No less comfortable than other shoes with a similar height heel. I wear them for nights out so don't know how the would be all day. I remember reading that they need breaking in (the leather) so maybe wear with socks around the house to soften the leather. Lovely shoes....go for it!

As predicted I can recommend Lotta ones. The quality is great and to be honest I only wear them a few times a week for 3 or 4 months a year so they Don't need to last forever. The leather is soft and they are easy to walk in.
