WHICH WEDDING DRESS?! Pics!!!

Help me MN!

My partner and I are getting married this weekend (!!!!!!) in his parents garden. We've been together 4 years but I'm now 13 weeks pregnant so want our family to be "official" and also I'm an EU citizen so a bit worried about Brexit. We only decided to get married about 8 weeks ago so it's very low-key, informal and intimate with around 20 guests.

Still don't know which dress to wear. Do I go for the gown option or the hippy option with which I'd wear a flower crown with. I love both styles and really don't know which to pick!

Please help me decide!!

ehhh! The gown!
The second dress isn't a dress. It's a nightie!

Definitely the gown! It's beautiful and even if it wasn't- the second one does look FAR too nightie-ish to be worn in public!!

Firstly, congratulations!!!!!
Secondly... dear GOD wear the gown.
Please DO NOT wear number 2. Your hormones are playing with your brain.

Number 1 is stunning, gorgeous, perfectly bridal but not too much for a low key celebration.

1 ... 2 doesn't look much like a dress to get honey, let alone for your wedding, but I'm perhaps a bit old fashioned 🙈

The first one is stunning, you look incredible in it.

The second one looks like you're about to have surgery or a spray tan.

Absolutely no contest IMO!

  • to be honest

Congratulations! I am not a traditionalist but I would go with the first one. IMO the second one looks like a slip to me, you can still decide on the morning I guess.

The second one doesnt even look like a dress, more like a slip that should be worn under a dress.

Number 1 is stunning.

Number 2 just don't even think about it, its a long vest thats all not a wedding dress.

First dress. You can still wear a flower crown if you want x

The first one...The second one is ok if you're getting married on a beach in Hawaii but not in the UK, the first one is more bridal like.

number one no contest. enjoy and congratulations!

Dress one of course! I refuse to believe that dress 2 was ever a true contender - it's hideous. Dress 1 is lovely.

Sorry, based on what you say about the celebration, I wouldn't pick either of them. No.2 looks more like an underslip than a dress, and No.1, while lovely, is too formal for a garden party, imo. Something in between would be better.

Also, for an outdoor party at this time of year, I'd be worrying about sunburn, with a lot of skin uncovered.

Hippy options can be lovely but what you've got looks like a cheap nighty.

Definitely option one.

Congratulations OP and just to add to what everyone else is saying - gown 1 is beautiful and perhaps gown 2 for the wedding night Grin

The gown is amazing.
I'm sure you would look lovely in the second dress too but I also thing you might freeze.

The gown is so gorgeous it would be a waste. It to wear it.

Congratulations Flowers Please go with 1, it's by far the more appropriate choice. Maybe save 2 for the wedding night/honeymoon Smile

Thanks so much everyone! I'm a bit of a 'free spirit' and my ideal wedding would be bare foot on a beach in a short simple dress like No.2 but we're in England now and I do think I'd regret not wearing a proper wedding dress and I might look back at pictures and think Hmm

Congratulations OP! Flowers Hope you have a wonderful day. You are gorgeous BTW and no way do you look like someone in her 2nd trimester of pregnancy.

You can wear the second dress another time!
